My husband bought me a miniature gypsy caravan , because I have always craved a original caravan. Don't know why. I didn't know my Irish parents or at least Irish mother. But from a young age have wanted one. I remember seeing one inside and it was so beautifull. Engraved glass, and beautifully fitted out. Oh and I love horses still ride at 71, they are my passion. So maybe just maybe, I'm a Romany. Thankyou for posting, you made me cry.
I was married to a Romany girl for 15 years. I was considered a gorger at the time but after awhile I learned alot. We have 3 kids and I still love her but she is gone now.
I think sadly that some were taken in the Nazi- established camp, Marzahn, near Berlin. How very good to see these photos of a people dear to my heart.❤

Not the same thing. Im from America my mom side is Ashkenazi and my dad's dad my grandpa is Romany. The culture and people completely different. Also they don't like to be confused with each other.
