Bought a polygon t8 surprisingly the fox 34 was dry and had no oil I had no idea till I rode it on the trails also found out the head tube had no lube so when you buy a polygon t8 make sure to lube it up before you ride 😅
Great video. I’m in the process of doing the same on my Rhythm 34. Was thinking it would make sense to soak the damper side foam ring in the 5wt oil since that is what goes in that side. Otherwise you’re basically mixing two oils. Thoughts?
Honestly that's a good point, i checked the manual and probably this is outdated, since the fork in the example uses for both legs 20WT. So yes, you are absolutely right, you should use 5wt bath for the damper side foam ring!
@@OresteCiotoli thanks for responding. Glad what I was thinking makes sense. Now I just have to be smart enough to put the right foam ring in the right side!
Thanks for providing the details for this specific fork!
You are welcome 💯🙏🏻

Wow, that's pretty bad to hear! I hope to not have these issues with my factory 38 😀
Thanks friend. Just followed your guide and they feel like new forks :)
Great that it helped man 🤜🏻👌🏻😎

Thanks Daniel 🔥🤝🏻🙏
When your filling your oils back up. Remember kids.. tilt your forks up, because..gravity. Seen it too many times😂
Good advice 👊🏻😉
Why no replacing of the oil in the air chamber at the top?
@@4091740 I'm doing that only in the longer air shaft service
