That was a great time, and I'm stoked to go back soon to ride. Make sure you don't miss the next episode as well as the two previous ones on Vancouver Island.
Oh, and watch my first ever video with Mark, where I broke my Scapula... ruclips.net/video/qH_RrpTRWbg/видео.html
Sa soude.....
@@remymetailler broke mine in a pretty mild crash on Mt Washingon a number of years back. I can attest, very painful.
Been waiting for this series Mark ! Sharknado trail next!!
It was fun having you visit, I can’t wait for the next video 🔥
Coming soon!
Loving this duo! Keep it coming boys!
Remy is the real deal.
Reevaluating his crash, cleaning the trail for the next riders
Representing MTB proud
Mark is such a fun rider to watch! 2 of the most stylish riders in the business 🤘🏼 Need more of this!
1:37 - 3:13 I love that after your crash you go back and examine how it happened. A lot of times it starts just like that, something small that throws you offline. Good eye riding it out until that soft patch. Glad you’re ok, with all those rocks around could have been bad🤘
I agree. It’s part of the learning curve to examine what went wrong so you can get next time. It seems like time slows down when you crash. I think a lot of riders try to find a soft place to land on the way down, but the whole thing happens in a fraction of a second. It crazy.
2 of my favorite riders what else could anyone ask for!!!!
Always great to see Mark in some content.
I actually think Remy has influenced my riding style more than any other rider. I wish I could say that I was fast AF like him but no it’s more the calculated approach and good decisions, picking when to be loose and when to be precise. I still love getting a bit rowdy but I risk assess most things I’m going to do and if I do crash these days I don’t feel like it was a stupid mistake, more that I pushed my limits a little too far and I am more accepting of the crash and look at it as a learning experience.
Glad you were able to finally ride with mark! I also love his channel
Nice job Rémy, clearing up the trail as you go!!! Cheers
Always!
Watching you riding together is AMAZING! My to Two favorite rowdy trail riders
The two of you are insanely awesome, thanks for the show. 👍
Absolutely SICK riding!!...Just keeps on getting better and better! Thanks for all the great effort Remy you put into these epic rides of flow and fun. Cheers mate!...
That pass over the gap was dope! Well timed. Perfectly executed.
Appreciate it!
He did this once before, and it wasn't planned.🤯 it was with a younger rider. Can't remember who it was but it was crazy!
@@justsayin3600 that was probably insane! I'll have to look and see if I can find it.
Great stuff Remy thanks for keeping it real with showing your mistakes. We all make them!
Absolutely.Pump me up !!! That is some unreal Skill involved. On those lines. Crazy, I got goosebumps watching video.
Same. He rides like I can only do in my imagination. If I imagine it's me riding from his point of view, it's like I'm dreaming. Just plain sick!
@@justsayin3600 YO PAUSE!!!!!!!!
Mark is in a different league, extraordinary guy. An exceptional rider and trail builder
I love Remmy's videos, he makes features look so rideable, until he stops and takes you back to have a proper look and then you go, **** man Ive no chance 😂
Elles sont vraiment très bien tes vidéos. Pour le niveau de ride mais surtout pour le concept. Continue comme ça je suis sûr que tu donnes du plaisir à beaucoup de passionnés. Have fun
It's always worth the trip over to Van Isle. Welcome back.
Fantastic trail and super varied. Would love to see this kind of trail filmed from the side perspective, (riders riding in and out of frame) would look amazing. Brilliant as ever Remy. 😊
Amazing video really enjoy your content, As an older rider with limited ability your modesty is appreciated.
My two favorite riders together! Great riding and lots of fun!
Awesome stuff as always, I love how you say it's time to slow down then continue at Mach 7
very nice collab, was looking forward to this.
👍👍👍very fast and exciting
That was a fun day! Next week's video cause me quite some stress ahaha
This has to be one of my favorite videos I've ever watched of you. This was sick dude!
"Yeah, dude." Classic Remy line :D
Epic, both shredding that rawness.
Couple of gnarly moments there but that last trail looked epic!
Yeah Remy as always he treats us with some absolutely amazing trails with absolute like Mark Who is a good example of how to shred
Mark is super underrated! i bet it’s hard not to get loose when you ride with someone that you can progress with
2 fave riders shreddin together! 🤙
sweet! been waiting for this one :D
You guys were whipping! Great work going full gas on some awesome trails!
Stay safe man best wishes, awesome 💯 👍🙌
That track looks so fun. Ripping as usual Mr Rémy. Glad the crash wasn’t serious. I personally get pissed when people follow me to close. But then again. My friends don’t ride like you so I’d be ok with it.
Wish i could find somewhere that dry to ride near me, We've got a choice in the UK right now, bog or swamp 😢
cheers mark!
Get well soon❤
Fing LOVE Mark Matthews!!
He is one of us!
8:33 this is absolutely sick.
It looks like pure nature out there in the canadian woods🌲 Definitly more wild then Germany.
Rémy.... are you going to come check Powell River on this trip? Mount Mahony is in the ascendancy, conditions are amazing these days and we've got some cool things happening on Hammil as well....
The best duo in MTB
Ya man Mark is a madman on the bike
1:43 Wow that was scary crash luckily you are fine🫣
I got lucky for sure..
It's always so easy to overpace when riding with a dude. Same on the Moto. Better to start mellow and speed things up than. Cool to see how your breaking point is way earlier than Mark's and the speed u carry around the corner + exit speed. Way faster! Mark should have watched your last training video 😋👌. That's Remy School🔥🔥
Glad you're alright.
Where are you riding this time of year? Looks Nice Can't wight to get back out on my summer bike.
The section from 18:06 looks fantastic 🎉
Can you share the trail names? If you said them I didnt understand sorry. Have a birthday ride coming up in Cumberland! Excellent video as always! Aim fir the bushes!
Mark is the man
What a trail
Wow soooooo fast
🤙
Fast rider!
two of BC's finest!
Pmsl... great episode
Jeez Mark is dialed
intro song? it's sounds so good
Can someone tell me if the carpet used for that drop is specific for landings or just a generic one
I normally ride 1 trail at the park in front because I'm a little faster on the last section where I pick up speed. This time I was following, and we got 1/2 through my fast section and I started closing in on him fast going down a really chunky, off camber step-down about 20ft long and almost ran into the back of him. I touched the front brake and went OTB! To add to the OTB I had just bedded my new pads in, MTX-Red on the front.
I dented my new Smith Mainline helmet.
I was amazed I didn't get really hurt. Just a reminder fellow riders, if you have the possibility to crash really hard, please wear your gear.
@2:31 when a man who has ballzzzz of steel slams the bush...well...y'all know where I'm going with this 😊
💯💥🔥🔥
"Sketchy" "Narrrrly" "Stoked" "Buddy" "Culll" "Nice": repeat x 1000
Enduro puro
´nice video
😁
👏👍
Thanks for removing that tree… trail etiquette 🙏🏽
2 cool
Do you find you ride a little tighter (butt puckered) after a crash like us normal riders, or shake it off well?
what trail is this?
I'm too scared to go fast.
Looks like you lost your tool out of the headset. Maybe happened right here from this crash.
14:05 it looks like Mark crashed and is lying on the side of the trail.
The excuses came in early in the video this time…….watching it on mute. Love that trail not the excuses
No
what ? 😁
Nice break down. It is rare you make a mistake. Sometimes the terrain decides to be gay 😂
If you have a ramp in the thumbnail and a crash in the title you have to deliver a crash from the ramp, otherwise it's clickbait 🤡
Say ,Remy, have you always ridden clipless? Which do You think is better for a beginner?
