Remy you're one of the few youtuber I take tips from because you show the process and you expose the reasoning behind it without sugar coating it, to me it's more valuable than any parking lot clinic...
Really good insights on how to prepare for scary obstacles. Being brave isn't not being scared, its being scared, calculating and mitigating the risks as best you can and doing it when the calculations make sense to you. (I've seen you walk away when they didn't make sense as well and that is also valuable to see). Its far to common to only see the success and none of the training and preparation that takes place before hand.
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!! My two favorite RUclips riders pushing the limits. So great to see this collaboration! Keep up the awesome work!
You are always so methodical and precise in your approach to perform at the highest level of this Rad sport we love. I like the fact that we can all learn from this approach in order to progress further in this sport. Thanks Remy for all your great coaching on this great channel, I always look forward to watching all your new content. Keep on roll'n brother!!...
Remy, by far the best video that you have posted till now and i've seen all of them! Really interesting to see that even a pro rider as you has such creeping moments when you are worried about what it might happen, but eventually if you control your guts and leave it as it is and fully trust your skills, nothing can ever happen! As a rider, you are really a person to who i am looking up to and hopefully, sometime soon i will eventually meet you! Till then, keep up your good work cause all of us, we highly appreciate it!
I love seeing someone as skilled as you work through the fear and the nerves. It gives me confidence that I am not being a sissy. But I am just working up to something that is outside my comfort, and everyone does it.
I always think you guys just shred straight up so watching you get your lines dialled like the rest of us mortals was sick🤙 thanks Remmy and thanks Mark
Nice to see you explain the breakdown of entering a scary set of features. I’ll use this approach at Kieran’s Line on the Glenlivet trails in Scotland ❤
Don't sweat the technique! How many of us have had that gut check/fear of approaching a line. Then realize "meh" that was easy! Love how you break a line down Remy. That style on Matthews eh?🔥
two out of my four favorite riders, just a pleasure to watch you guys riding together. Would love to watch two of you along with Brage Vestavik and Blake Samson... I realize that this four are so different riding styles, but so nice to watch them ride. Would be very interesting to see them sharing views on same trail.
Awe inspiring! I've been starting to tackle some bigger jumps and the way you analyze and read these features is amazing. Cant wait to take a fraction of that knowledge and technique out to the trails.
ngl remy you yap on in every video but why do I like it I thinks it because you explain everything very well and you explain your process and that's what I want to do on the trails as well. Amazing video with one of my favorite riders mark Matthews. Mark is my opinion is one of the most stylish riders ever with his tables and whips.
Pretty interesting to see how Remy’s terrain preferences contrast with a rider like Matt Jones in this video. I really liked how he approached each feature to help dial in his comfort level. That first boost was terrifying. It was also nice to see Mark coach him through the speeds as most riders seem to just follow and huck.
Crazy jumps dude just a question if I’m super comfortable with jumps and not so comfortable with going fast down trails but I know I have the skill what’s something I can do to be able to go faster?
Really appreciate the new Content! First attempt is scary and you normally tense up(survival instinct) = Resulting in not absorbing return force from the jump and bike in a "smooth way". Not criticizing, you almost stand with straight legs after the lip, resulting in all the force is directed into the bike. Second attempt, totally different, feeling smooth and absorbing the bike towards the body(you almost came slightly short). Can we see more progression into dirt bike/pump track areas? May open up to new Business possibility going beyond the Freeride Focus.
He's done a few moto trials videos but the viewership doesn't seem there. ruclips.net/video/nvGIVCFak9c/видео.html was the last one, but he has some going back years.
Yeah Remy so sick to see you ride way out of your comfort zone again wow Mark you have built an amazing trail Showing my age but if only you were having a good session with bender Steve Romanack and super T would be the highlight of the year
@@remymetailler Who doesn’t enjoy all your videos you get to ride some awesome places with some amazing people and in some cases extraordinary people Who don’t let their disability get in the way
It was awesome shredding this line with you, amazing riding dude!🔥
You both are savages. Poor trails 🤘💀
My 1st time coming across your riding Mark , will be following you , awesome awesome riding bro 💪
Thanks for the ride dude! Was awesome.
Mark is the man! Learned a lot from his trail building videos as well.
Nice riding guys

Because of Marks videos during the pandemic, there is a trail near my house now. Trail building inspiration.
Your systematic approach and solid advice when approaching new features is really helpful whatever your biking level is. Thanks and sick riding!
Thank you!

Imagine if they got Steve to join them?!?!?! It would be the perfect YT video!
thanks for sharing your mastery, Mark's trail is also a masterpiece!
As a trail builder, this is one of my favorite YT videos of all time!
Yeah this is a really dialed trail - very tastefully done and super sick!

Amazing to see how pros progress through new lines, a lot for me to learn (on smaller jumps of course...) Great video!!

That was quite the day! Stoked to have made it alive!
What a trail!!
I would never be having a conversation like these two guys. WoW!
Fantastic video, it's so great to see the whole process of breaking it down, not just the end result!
It’s cool to see even the one of the best riders in the world can have a bit of fear when sending a new line.
I always think you guys just shred straight up so watching you get your lines dialled like the rest of us mortals was sick🤙 thanks Remmy and thanks Mark
Awe hey cute puppy dog! Nothing better than mark n remy on a trail together
Her name is Knya
holy shit that overshoot! when following a friend goes wrong... i didn't even know it was possible to have such different line speed needs.
I'm glad you guys collaborated, I've been waiting since COVID for these videos.
I love the editing on this video between your view and Mark's.....really well done. That trail is sick, too.
Glad you enjoyed it!
You know the trail is insane when you got Remy nervous! 😲

This is one of your best episodes Remy. Great to see you guys working through the features
Nice job buddy! No matter how good someone is, I love watching people progress!
Thanks!
That was cool. I love it how they stopped and took they time on these features. Awesome job. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you Remy! This was such an immersive video in such a beautiful playground.

Great video, love to see how much thought went into from you and how accurate you like to be with great explanation. Cheers guys
loved seeing this progression. You are starting to get really good at this bumbling thing.

Amazing riding you guys! Love your riding! All discipline master! 🔥🔥🔥
What a down to earth guy, just analyzing the trail and having fun even though hes a pro
That trail is freaking INSANE!!! I would think only the top 5-10% of riders could actually complete that trail in 1 day!!! Wow 😮💪💪
To me it seems way easier that all the steep stuff remy usualy ride, everybody has diferent comfort zone!
You both guys are amazing
On your camaras it looks too easy but we all know the really true seconds before to take off 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
wow! what a line. Fantastic riding!
Liked durring the ads before the video. just know its about to be a banger!
Love this style of video! You are definitely methodical on your riding style.
I appreciate that!
It's amazing , learning with the process. Thanks a lot, keep going!!!
Thanks, will do!

Nice line ! Nice day ! 🫠🔥
15:14 crazy how the mic picks up the audio from the water rushing downstream. also really cool riding!
Des jumps de très haut niveau!
Bravo aux 2 riders
That final with mark cam fov was🔥
I like how much you study the line before you ride it!
I really do not want to crash...
@@remymetailler hear that
Have you tried Sprindex coil springs? Keep pre-load at 2 turns to avoid initial harshness and you can dial in the platform (spring rate) you desire
Incredible riding, wow!
MY FAVORITE DH yt on yt. was just in frome on suday!!!
Insane ! Not even in my dreams. 😂 Mark and you are crazy good.
DAMN Mark! That's art.

Beautiful!
Really appreciate the new Content!

Some of those jumps are insanly steep takeoffs with huge gaps!
Super gnarly!!! I would be in A&E , 100% 😂
nice one Rémy!
always sick. congrats
Crazy stuff...but you prepare it like a stuntman at the movies. A mistake would be fatal. But you are focused. Incredibale!!! I would never try...
Ooooh my gosh! That was terrifying!
I'm careful like Remy and do like 3 or 4 runups and my friends always get mad at me for it haha
So good guy's, so good! 😎🤘
