- Dodgy weather and a spare few minutes so I dropped in on my friends at Haywards Royal Enfield of Cambridge for a catch up and a warming cup of tea. Whilst there I had a Quick Look at what bikes are in stock.

Haywards look like a fantastic old school dealership, I wish we still had one around our way. Too many shiny corporate ones staffed by ex carsalesmen types for my liking😊

Yes, I did watch Ian's review / ride and wasn't surprised that he did enjoy the 500x. The wife says, when we reach the 200 miles on the 500x she is going to get me doing the 15 sec dance for your charity. You should be afraid. 🤣👍🏍

Some nice gems there TAYM as ever and even a duck egg Morris thousand I had one in that colour and my wife the a dark blue one in the 80/90's .good old busses heaters were crap though 😂. 👌👍

That little Ducati is a pretty bike. I got to sit on the Shotgun yesterday and I have to say I'm not a fan but that's due to my short legs it's too wide so even though the seat is low I can't flat foot it and just like the Super Meteor it weighs an absolute ton. It actually feels heavier than my GS which is ridiculous for a 650.

Just put a deposit on a 2022 RE INT with only 2300 miles on the clock in mint condition loaded with extras-fire sale price as it was in a Harley dealership so they wanted it out of there

Nice bikes. A good dealership would be a blessing. Especially if they have a good service department. Here there are only a few chain dealerships left, so you don’t have as many choices as in the past.

I was in Fowlers Bristol earlier in the week and had a look at the Shotgun 650. I really like the look of it and sitting on it it seemed to fit me well, better than the Interceptor as it seemed to have more seat to peg distance. Its the only RE that has grabbed my interest. Yet another bike i want a test ride on.

Morning, I've found them ok to speak to but they were not very helpful in regards to issues with my 500 and they have not phoned me back about parts so won't be using them for serving etc.
