    I really wish I could see you as a patient. My doctor wasnt on board with me lowering my dose. Nor was she willing to,give me a prescription for 6 months for my naturethroid. I explained to her multi times my insurance did not pay for any natural thyroid medication. Finally after 1 1/2 years she grudgingly gave me a prescription. So, i decided Id take this opportunity to get off the naturethroid. October 8th is my 3rd month being off the meds. Im doing great and feel Im on,the right track. I am adjusting my supplement and amino acids. I feel fantastic compared to what I had been feeling just on naturethroid. I just wish my doctor would be on board with me. So im looking at my new primary care to have a visit with him. He is inmhis thirties and more with the new changes. Hopefully he doesnt rely solely on test results. I have reccomended you to other ladies. Yoou are the first doctor that Ive found that displays the desire to inform and help people. You are in a very narrow number,of doctors that have the knowledge and intuition on treatment. Thank you so much.

    Thank you Dr Childs. I have two questions:
    1) Since I start taking t3 conversion booster for 3 months now, my hypothyroid level ( TSH) has improved even though I have reduced my synthroid intake for only 5 days a week and I am planning to go lower as longer as I am feeling good
    2) Is it true that oratate lithium supplementation is bad for hypothyroid patients?
    Again May God continues to give you more knowledge.

    • @drwestinchilds
      @drwestinchilds  3 года назад +3

      I'm not sure I understand the first question but glad you are feeling better! In regards to the second, it's possible that high doses of lithium can cause thyroid problems.

Would you recommend we check our Zinc levels at a lab before supplementing?
