- The Phantom controller from Hexgaming offers a lot of control and customization for PS5 and PC players. The controller has the same molding as the regular PS5 controller with some major upgrades like the Drifix module that allows you to correct any potential drifting. The question is whether there is a large market for this or not with the large amount of options in the market. Great review! I pledged for the premium pack a little over a month ago. Re-pledged when The Hall Effect add-on was announced. To be honest, $200 is a great deal when you compare the features that this controller will have versus Scuf, Aim, Battle Beaver...etc. I'm excited to get one.
I did contribute to the kickstarter and should be getting it in August. Price wise, for a "Pro" controller with 4 back buttons and interchangeable thumbsticks, grips, digital trigger switches and back grips, there is no better value than the Hex Phantom. Purchasing a similar product from companies like Battle Beaver, Scuf, AIM etc will cost you a lot more than what Hex is charging.
For them prices, they should at least come with Hall effect joysticks
It does now. But it’s a tiny bit more pricey now
Is it easy to replace the sticks if they break?? Like the dual sense edge
No, it would be harder than that since they were designed to be more swappable
