Vauxhall Cavalier rear wiper motor replacement

In this video, I show how to bench test a second hand rear wiper motor looking at the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual then I remove the old motor and install the new one.

Good video Steve, liked the last too choices of music, actually reminded me i need to change my wiper blades, had them in the garage for months but only remember when i get in the car to go out and it's wet which until recently hasn't been much , think you need to get a Honda mate, save you a fortune in parts 😂 👍

Haha glad you like it Pete wasn’t my best efforts, took me awhile to edit this as I used an external mic and device to record the audio which VN doesn’t have the facility to sync the audio automatically.
Haha I had a Civc before good car but not good for content 😂there is a few more jobs to do to get the car right then hopefully it’s plain sailing.
I haven’t tried it myself yet but you can clean wiper blades with WD40 I’m going to try this on the work van as the wipers on that are terrible. I spent so much time on the music I struggled to find something I liked.

Hey Steve, I left you a fairly long reply to this this afternoon but for some reason it's not on here even though it says you have 2 comments only Pete's is showing on here, I can't even remember what I put mate🤦‍♂😂
I've never changed a rear wiper motor before but it looked quite easy and as you said in the video the hardest part is removing the wiper arm but yours wasn't to bad and don't believe what Pete says you need to get a Merc SLK😜👍👍

Hahaha, it’s funny I see someone left a comment on Saturday but couldn’t see it anywhere so I assumed they deleted it so that answers that one 😂 annoying though I enjoy reading people’s comments. It was an easy motor to change not to film though. Yes the wiper arm was easy to get off so lucky really. Thanks for your comments though John. Cheers.
