Lady Jazzrabbit has already made a mod loader for the game which makes adding custom levels, models, textures etc. super easy, and I imagine it won't be long till we can add custom code. I'd highly recommend anyone interested in Celeste 64 modding to go check her channel out: www.youtube.com/@Lady_Jazzrabbit. One other thing I missed in the video is that the source code of the game is actually publicly available under the MIT license, and can be found here: github.com/ExOK/Celeste64

Bro speedrunning celeste, but not the actual game but modding it.
They say the devil works quick but Hacktic works quicker 🤣 Love how the devs made it easy for their players to mod. Great video & level layout!
How do you make a piece of ground have multiple textures?
Thanks for showing this though, it's fun messing around with
shift click a face to select it individually
@@csdgay Oh it was that simple.. I though I had tried everything lol. Thanks
@@The_NSeven no problem. trenchbroom has a pretty good manual built in, press f1
@@csdgay Ah, perfect. I checked the online documentation, but didn't really find anything
Why would you worry about decompiling stuff? Isn't the game's code already open source and up on github?
You're right! I made this video in kind of a rush so I missed that but the source code is actually available under the MIT license.
You have ALREADY made the video lol after you just discovered it on the itch forums
Haha yeah I wanted to get it up before anyone else!
trenchbroom was made for quake and other similar engines, not source
Thanks for the correction!
