Darth Vader pretty much has unpenetrable force walls which is the exact reason why Cal cannot push him back. Vader is that much stronger that only Jedi Council level Masters are able to break through his force walls and push him back. Even Cere had to weaken Vader first just to break through his barriers and push him back during their duel
Cere was also on the same level as those jedi council members and still lost. She studied for years I think Vader even tells her this as he first sees her.
It's funny how the "slow mo" force skill slows the person down so much that they defy gravity, yet manage to move fast enough to swing their lightsaber.
Love seeing people into the star wars games and putting respect on Vader. Vader is such an amazing character because rarely do we see Dark Chosen One type characters. Anakin did indeed bring balance to the force after a long reign of the Light side and in the end he also thwarted the oppressive control of the dark side as well. Such a good character, such a cool depiction in games. Keep the good side of the star wars legacy alive and may the force be with you!
Balance means no darkness, Anakin only brought balance after killing Sidious, that's why TPM and ROTJ have such similar endings, to show us the Chosen One fulfilled his destiny
@@takeo_624 Hey, real quick: If we take a scale and have two things on either side of the scale, one labeled 'ligh't and one labeled 'darkness' and then we completely remove 'darkness' from the scale, would it be balanced? Balanced, even for the force, doesn't mean an absence of darkness. Balance even in real life doesn't mean the absence of everything bad. If there was only absolute good, the world wouldn't be balanced just as if there was absolute evil.
@@beaskew88 that's not how the Force works, that's not even how the real world works and the logic that Anakin brought balance to the Force by destroying the Jedi doesn't either and here's why: The galaxy was "ruled" by the Jedi for generations and because of that the lightside was really strong even if they were starting to lose their way and worry too much about politics. The entire purpose of the Clone Wars was to bring misery and strife to the galaxy so that the darkside would become stronger and the light weaker. Mace says during AOTC that the Jedi can't use the Force like they used to and that's because of the rising conflict around the galaxy. This is also something talked about during TCW too, how the darkside is becoming stronger and by consequence Sidious himself, that's even the reason why Maul is terrified by the end of the series, because he knows Sidious became unstoppable, further than that, the entire structure of the Empire was made to maximize misery and suffering to help Sidious stay in power and make it difficult for the Jedi to rise up again. Everything I just said is canon, it's talked about by the characters and described by the setting multiple times, there's no theory or speculation. By your definition of balance, that would have been achieved somewhere halfway through the Clone Wars and I can tell you exactly when: The Mortis Arc. I think that Mortis is one of the biggest arguing points about what Balance truly means but it all comes from a fundamental misconception because the context around those events are a bit hazy. First of all: the Son is not the darkside, he's not even a darksider at the start of the story, the Father clearly states that he fell at some point after Anakin and the others got there, so no, the Son is just the "end" part of the cycle of life, the natural death that leads to new life, renovation if you will, a speck of darkness that brings forth new light. Was there conflict in Mortis? Probably but even then everything worked as intended, there was no darkness as the Sith envision, it's only after the war started that he started gaining more power because there were millions if not billions dying and only after that he falls to the darkside. It is said multiple times throughout the arc that the Son is getting stronger and stronger but by the point he and the Daughter fight they're evenly matched, meaning that in a galaxy in peace he would be much weaker than her using the darkside or not. Following the scale logic, Balance would have been achieved during their fight and then would have been immediately broken as the Daughter dies and darkness start to surpass the light and at the point Order 66 is executed darkness is fully taking over the galaxy. By the scale logic, Balance means a galaxy forever in a stalemated conflict where no one wins and everyone suffer which makes the prophecy completely dumb since even in his death Anakin wouldn't have been able to truly bring it as, with the Emperor's death, the civil war would start to go for the rebellion favor and soon end. There's also the fact that Lucas said to have once considered making Leia the Chosen One, as she would have been chancellor of the New Republic in his sequel trilogy and the one to truly bring peace to the galaxy. There's also just the Jedi themselves, it's constantly shown that the old Order was too attached to worldly matters before and during the Clone Wars while the ones that survived can see the bigger scope and actually follow the Jedi Code, making them much more powerful even during the rule of the Empire. Force Ghosts are also shown to be only achievable by those who have attained true balance and Yoda's training for that consisted of, among other things, purifying his inner darkness and I don't think it can get any more explicit than this. Sorry for the gigantic text, I saw a chance of using all this useless knowledge I have and got excited lmao Edit: typo Edit 2: should have mentioned it before but the Jedi Order is just a religion, Balance as they describe is of no concern to the Sith because they believe in other things (i.e.: chaos and power). To the Jedi, Balance is like the Nirvana is to the the Buddhism and if you look up the meaning of that you'll get this: "(in Buddhism) a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. It represents the final goal of Buddhism." It's just what I described, specially compared to Force Ghosts, now sure there's no way for the galaxy to be "released from the cycle of death and rebirth" but it's easy to infer that the next best thing is just... y'know, peace for everyone, which means no war or pointless suffering and misery and in the end exactly what I said in my first comment: no darkness. Balance can't exist without the Jedi because they're first and foremost peacekeepers, even if they lose their way, they're always the ones to stop criminals or just straight up evil people from causing harm to others and without them it's always just a matter of time before someone appears trying to take over. Even the sequels, as terrible as they are, show us that a galaxy without the Jedi is suceptible to any kind of evil and they are and will always be needed.
@@takeo_624 Anakin was a force ghost at the end of the original Trilogy. After years of being dedicated to the darkside of the force and being one of it's strongest practitioners, Anakin somehow achieved balance in his last moments? Was his deed so great that it instantly polarized him to the light side or is the idea of a force ghost just not a good litmus for the idea of balance? If Jedi were entirely good and the Sith were entirely bad, there would never be a fluxation between the two. Kylo Ren would never heard a calling to the lightside and Anakin would never hear a calling to the darkside. Their commitments would be absolutely. Rey had to confront her darkside and overcome it, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Even Jedi masters can fall to the darkside of the force. I say all this to say that balance in star wars has never been defined by the absence of darkness.
@@beaskew88 "was his deed so great that it instantly polarized him to the light side...?" Yes. I literally explained to you that becoming a Force Ghost is equivalent to achieving Nirvana. Anakin completely rejected the darkside, all of his fear and anger and everything and sacrificed himself to save someone else. He died without regrets knowing he had been forgiven by the person that mattered most to him, his own son. That's why it's his redemption and also why he's one of the like, four Jedi that managed to appear as Force Ghosts, otherwise anyone would be able to do so and we're yet to see Mace Windu showing up as one. "If the Jedi were entirely good and the Sith entirely bad..." Yeah, I never said that, in fact I mentioned about how the Jedi were fucking up multiple times but there are Jedi who achieved states of pure light, as I said, the ones who managed to come back as Force Ghosts and there are also Sith who achieved states of pure darkness, Maul and Sidious (and even Vader if you consider him as a split personality like some materials like to play around with) are good examples. There are Jedi entirely good, those who can become Force Ghosts, but it's hardly the rule and in fact the whole point of the story, the Jedi lost to Sidious because they were flawed but after that the ones left started to get back on track until one of them finally became a true Jedi and it's easy to forget but the Emperor is the FIRST character to acknowledge Luke as a Jedi and that only happens after he refuses to keep fighting and throws his lightsaber away. Rey and her stellar writing isn't really a good example, Yoda had darkness inside of him in the form of the fear he had of the darkside itself and the Wills make it very explicit that as long as it existed he couldn't continue his training to become a Force Ghost, so he confronts it and subsequently purifies the darkness essentially cleaning himself of any and all influence of the darkside inside of him and the Wills immediately show up and let him proceed to the next stage. "Balance in Star Wars has never been defined by the absence of darkness" I mean, yeah, if you ignore literally everything I said you can certainly try and argue that, it's just not true and it also doesn't seem like it's a thing Disney is trying to change since Kenobi is a thing that exists and the final fight of the season ends with him giving into the goodness and peace of the light which immediately makes him powerful enough to fight Vader and he hadn't even started training with Qui-Gon yet.

I actually like that your force powers don’t work on vader.
*They Shouldn’t*
They should make a dent in him but nothing more than that
It's funny how the "slow mo" force skill slows the person down so much that they defy gravity, yet manage to move fast enough to swing their lightsaber.
You don't know the POWER of the dark side
Vader doesn’t get to have the high ground very often. Let him enjoy this moment.
This is like Saiyan Saga era Krillin trying to go up against Perfect Cell.
I love how he gets staggered the first 2 times just for fun when he can clearly just walk through it and kill you if he wants
"Alright, I humored you twice, that's twice my limit. Now if you will be so kind, I didn't finish looking at the scenery."
That was just him being reasonable 🤣
The 9th sister is doing some Will E. Coyote moves.
I'm impressed with how many times he tried to throw enemies with jetpacks off a cliff.
Darth Vader: How dare you interrupt me while I'm looking at those beautiful colorful parrots!
When you try to get Vader off of the high ground
I see Obi-Wan has taught him well.
0:32 what is this Looney Tunes 😂
Gamer - It's over Anakin. I have the High Ground!
Vader - Oh, I don’t think so…
"You're as brave as you are stupid."
~ Vader
You F'ed up the moment you loaded VADER on the cliff! LMAO
The ninth sister was like a cartoon character when falling bro 💀
*Uses force to push him off the cliff, fails*
Vader: I am the force
Quite Literally He Is The Son Of The Force It Self.
"Ahh this brings back memories, the younglings tried that too "
Ninth Sister doing that Wiley E. Coyote style of falling.
The Ninth Sister got that Wile E. Coyote power.
Vader barely flinches/moves to block, even Cals experience with two games is like a B-1 to Anakin
Vader is like: I'm a legacy character who dies later in the timeline, your powers are useless against me!
Sorry for the gigantic text, I saw a chance of using all this useless knowledge I have and got excited lmao
Edit: typo
Edit 2: should have mentioned it before but the Jedi Order is just a religion, Balance as they describe is of no concern to the Sith because they believe in other things (i.e.: chaos and power). To the Jedi, Balance is like the Nirvana is to the the Buddhism and if you look up the meaning of that you'll get this:
"(in Buddhism) a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. It represents the final goal of Buddhism."
It's just what I described, specially compared to Force Ghosts, now sure there's no way for the galaxy to be "released from the cycle of death and rebirth" but it's easy to infer that the next best thing is just... y'know, peace for everyone, which means no war or pointless suffering and misery and in the end exactly what I said in my first comment: no darkness.
@@beaskew88
"was his deed so great that it instantly polarized him to the light side...?"
Yes.
"If the Jedi were entirely good and the Sith entirely bad..."
Yeah, I never said that, in fact I mentioned about how the Jedi were fucking up multiple times but there are Jedi who achieved states of pure light, as I said, the ones who managed to come back as Force Ghosts and there are also Sith who achieved states of pure darkness, Maul and Sidious (and even Vader if you consider him as a split personality like some materials like to play around with) are good examples.
"Balance in Star Wars has never been defined by the absence of darkness"
I mean, yeah, if you ignore literally everything I said you can certainly try and argue that, it's just not true and it also doesn't seem like it's a thing Disney is trying to change since Kenobi is a thing that exists and the final fight of the season ends with him giving into the goodness and peace of the light which immediately makes him powerful enough to fight Vader and he hadn't even started training with Qui-Gon yet.
All I can hear in my head is Red Forman saying, "dumba-s"
Death Vader stood there intentionally as a trap.
Most accurate depiction of Vader I’ve ever seen in a game 👏👏
Darth Vader is insanely powerful in these games it's so cool, one thing respawn actually cares about
I love how the others just sorta either struggle or get pushed a little bit, but Vader just deflects it lmao.
The chill one handed slice is what does it for me... :P
1:00 you're welcome
The way he's moving his hand is like he's redirecting the Force.
There's a video of Darth Vader being a smart ass 😂😂😂😂
No Darth Vader is a not a smart ass
He is fool by Darth Sidious to kill his own wife and betray his Jedi friend.
He is just strong with the force that’s it
@@coolgamingtv888 did u mean to say tool?

@Το Τρολ Well, yeah. Didn't she die of a broken heart? or Child birth?
So either noones or Anikans (and more Sidious fault) Sidious manipulated anikan to change sides, that's why he lost padme...
Or just Childbirth
Notice Vader managed to counter the last push while attacking with the lightsabre.
The ninth sister got that loney tune fall
Ahhh, the Ninth Sister went to the Wily Coyote school of falling off a cliff.
