Fuel Gauge on Milwaukee M12 Brad Nailer Does Not Light When Powered On

  • According to the manual, page 5:
"To determine the amount of charge left in the battery, turn the tool on. The fuel gauge will light up for 2-3 seconds. When less than 10% of charge is left, 1 light on the gauge will flash 4 times."
However, the fuel gauge does light up whenever a nail is shot. I'm new to M12 and didn't realize this. Sorry.

@@beeret110 Thanks. I returned it. The replacement had the same issue. I might wait a few more months to see whether they get this bug fixed.

      Shit!
I’ve one coming I hope in the next few days.
Hoping it will work on mine, but Milwaukee usually need a few goes to perfect their tools.

I had the same problem on two of them, and then when I just happened to squeeze trigger on second one the gauge turned on for a few seconds. I am curious if this worked for you.

@@ScholtzLifeYou’re Welcome. By the way, I contacted Milwaukee to ask them is there a typo in Manual and is the Trigger Gauge activation normal, and they never answered my question. I still don’t know if this is normal.
I returned my first one when I stumbled on this trigger activation on the second unit. I use HD in Minnesota. Irritating to not know what is normal.
