Good job
Chris, we're very like minded. Great video!
Can't wait until you get to Halloween 2018
Yup, I'd watch any Halloween movie over this one anytime.🤦
Laurie making sure Michael wasn't someone else made no sense because if he's chasing you through an institution and trying to kill you, obviously it's him!
Don't forget busting through the door like it was nothing.
@@beavers1978 Exactly.
Im not sure Im following you. The paramedic? Cuz the paramedic is only in the mask once hes in the bodybag. He didnt do any of the chasing.
@@DeathbySkullfxxx Huh
I guess he could have grabbed a hospital worker, made him put on his clothes and mask and send him to the roof just in case Laurie had a trap set. 🤦🏻♂️
A normal man wouldn’t be able to get up so easily after getting thrown through a windshield, getting hit by a high speed vehicle and thrown off a cliff without snapping their neck, pinned between a tree and a van and survived and having enough energy to raise his hand towards Laurie. As for the mask, it’s so detailed, looks like Michael is wearing eyeliner and the actor is wearing eye shadow around his eyes but it’s better than the Nicholas Cage H5 mask
You mean Mark Zuckerberg mask
And don't forget that Mikey in the same scene, he also sported a few blood spots due to the knife wounds from Laurie.
Good to know that Michael covered everything when he changed clothes, including the blood spots and the ripped jumpsuit due to the same knife wounds
@@robtz759 well I don't mean to defend anything about this movie, but he had the same blood spots because he switched outfits
@@KAL-VORHEESI mean, in the H20 scene, he was still bleeding from them, despite the paramedic being there, but even without that, there are many things that the Resurrection team sucked at.
Like, if Mikey was actually the paramedic in disguise, why couldn't he just take his mask off instead of reaching out his hand to Laurie while looking at her with dead eyes?
And how do you explain that nobody noticed Mike as the paramedic walking off with a blood stained knife?
He definitely was wearing black around his eyes, I remember from the bts
15:22
Let's not forget, Michael has a sense of humor since in Halloween 1978 he put on a blanket and glasses being like i got your drinks 😂
Why do fans forget that, and how smart and calculating Myers is?
To me, when I binge the Halloween movies every year I still watch this one. Something about its dumb fun is enjoyable to me. It's absolutely not a great movie but for some reason I have fun with it
The Halloween franchise is terrible i realized this a few years ago.Only the original and part 4 is good with 2 being ok.Freddy is even worse with Part 3 Dream Warriors being the only one thats even watchable in that franchise now.The Friday the 13th franchise is definitely head and shoulders above all them even though it got silly after part 4 they're still watchable and not plain stupid or cartoony like its rivals
@@keldorthebluemack are u saying that dream warriors is better than the original? Girl…
@@keldorthebluemack F13 franchise literally has zero story and the worst characters (if you can even call them that). Terrible. Take a lap.

@@keldorthebluemack friday the 13th movies are not good at all nightmare on elm Street is good and halloween is great
"I grew up in Langdon, and even there we knew the stories-- the legends of the mid-west bogeyman. Michael Myers, the little boy who killed his sister, Judith, on Halloween night. Exactly fifteen years later, he escaped and slaughtered over a dozen people. They told everyone he was dead, but they never caught him, never found a body. As children, we even believed he wouldn't die. There were always whispers-- whispers that became screams when summer gave way to fall."
Also, I think the whole haunted house idea would've been better if it was at Smith's Grove. Place is bigger and makes it more believable for Michael to kill each contestant off without alerting the others. Also gives more places for Michael to hide.
Halloween Nightdance💯

Imagine if at the end of H2O is shows the opening of resurrection, and they made it a cliff hanger
It did show his face in h20 and was Michael when she chop his head off she followed every move before chop head off
@@jazmorrison9030 what? English much? And nahhh dude, you don't know what tf you're talking about
The switcheroo twist in the beginning reminded me a lot of the Producer’s Cut ending for Halloween 6 where it’s revealed that Michael swapped outfits with Dr. Wynn.
Except in _The Curse of Michael Myers_ there was a lot more weight to it with it meaning that Michael defied the powers that were supposed to control him.
I am loving these Halloween recaps! I hope once these are done you do other movies, maybe throw a pole online so we can vote what movies you do next?! Either way, you rock dude! 🤘

There WAS going to be a sequel to resurrection but it was cancelled, it would've had Josh Hartnetts character go after Michael Myers as revenge. That should've been the plot of resurrection instead of... whatever we got.
There's a script for it online that was leaked too before Zombie's remake was announced. I think it was called 'Halloween Retribution'.
A sequel resurrection movie would of been better than those 2 rob zombie movies
@@Crismachan I actually love Rob Zombie's Halloween, exept that forgettable sequel.
@@wisconsinking323 same
Man I hate the characters in this movie. Lol.
I remember watching this movie and being so enraged at Busta Rhymes kicking Michael Myers. Felt cheated out of a Horror Icon
YESSS!! Agree
@@3CFilms I kind of loved it, but not because it was awesome. Just because it's so hilarious and…weird, to say the least.
When rappers started to be in popular franchises i knew it would be trash.I get it they think the rappers will bring in more money with their fans.Imagine if Eminem was in a popular horror franchise like Halloween or Friday the 13th alot of people who don't even like those movies would come out just to see Eminem
@@cookscreativecorner Man, that was fxxking awesome! Stop it.

Hi Chris My name is Dylan and I'm 14 and I just wanted to say you're my favorite youtuber. I loved this video just like all the others, it was hilarious.
I think Halloween Resurrection is so bad that it’s hilarious! Great review Chris 🎃🔥
Agreed
@@3CFilms This movie is so bad it makes stinky farts to the face pretty good.
def wasn't that bad...
The film was like taking an electrical current to the balls.
🤣🤣🤣
After part 4 this franchise has been horrible
This is definitely one of those “So bad it’s good” movies. Me and my friends loved watching this movie since we were kids. Lol. It’s so funny.
this was the movie my older cousins would have on in the family parties I used to be terrified of it lmao
Literally same!
Same wtf
That scream Michael Myers did when Busta shocked his 🥜🥜 had me lmao🤣🤣🤣 and then he screamed again as he resurrected at the very end🤣🤣🤣
Bruh, it’s DANGERTAINMENT. One word! Love you, maaan!!🤣
LMFAO at the Myers Pull down!! thanks for the laugh bro you never disappoint
The only thing I like about this movie is the Myers House. It was very well done.
And it was built from scratch in a set.
You are PUMPIN out these Halloween videos. Great stuff my man
You made this more entertaining and enjoyable than the actual movie I was literally laughing out loud thanks for the laughter.
I was done when Busta Rhymes said "Trick or treat mf" 🤣😂🤣
I’ve been re-watching all the Halloween movies recently and to be honest this movie is not as bad as Halloween fans say. In my opinion the first 15 minutes is great, Brad Lorre is a great Myers, and Busta is funny af. I don’t think it’s great but it’s at least an average slasher. I find funny how everyone who craps on this movie sucks all the garbage sequels and lazy reboots off. To be honest after rewatching all of them the only good ones are the original 1 and 2.
Watch the tv cut of Halloween 2. It basically rearranges the whole film to make sense and is way better than the normal version.
Yeah my favourite is when buster fights Michael I love it when people actually try to fight the villain
Halloween 4 was good, Halloween 2018 was good, Halloween kills was good
@@mysticz9046 I don’t like the two new films there lazy and retcon everything besides the first movie. Every major franchise has bad movies but you don’t have to retcon everything just b/c your to lazy to come up with a good follow up story. Laurie and Michael will always be brother and sister. There will be only one Halloween 2 and that movie came out in 1981.
@thatdudefromearth Still better than HoBoween 2
Halloween resurrection is honestly one of my favourites, love the opening, love the mask, love the approach towards it
Agreed if u don't have a Halloween superhard on then this movie is fine. I really loved it. Nostalgic film
The opening act is the only thing that ruins the film really. It's fundamentally not a well done prologue at all, but it was also an affront to Laurie's victory in H20 and even worse she gets killed by being uncharacteristically stupid.
Take that opening off, and the rest of the movie could be set anytime without any real continuity obligation. Buncha co-eds join an internet stunt show to go into the Myers house and poke around... and uh oh Michael's there, havoc ensues. The End. That opening was so unneeded and felt contractually obligated to be in the film than an actual necessary story element.
@@jessemoore7081 The opening act is the only thing that REDEEMS the film. What 'victory' did Laurie win in H20? That whole incident was the affront...to the SERIES...The idea that a woman could walk right up to Michael Myers and kill him while he was fully conscious with both hands free? Absurd. She couldn't do that to ME. I'd simply take the axe away from her. Resurrection had potential, but they squandered it by bringing in Busta Rhymes, and forgetting what kind of film they were MAKING here...Slasher movies thrive on isolation. Keeping characters in clusters makes for something out of Laurel and Hardy...NOT a slasher movie.
@@tgriffin3059alright sport, why don't you explain to me your plan for wrestling away an axe from a VERY pissed off woman while your pinned to a truck by a tree and can't reach her?
@@tokyodeathghoul2313 (1). His arms were free (2). It's just a woman (3). He's Michael Myers (4). She has to come WITHIN reach to use the axe(if she can reach me, I can reach HER)... (5). If Michael Myers can reach you....well, you do the math...
“THE HADDONFIELD HYPE HOUSE” Chris, every single video you remind me why I subscribed to you, that is GOLD 😂 💕
Yes I have definitely been waiting for this one!!
Haha hope you enjoy!!
This is amazing
@@3CFilms definitely every Halloween review video you make gets me more and more hyped for Halloween Kills!
What boggles my mind is this was directed by Rick Rosenthal. The same man who directed Halloween 2, and he managed to make the second worst movie in the Halloween franchise.
The catfish/other state character really was my favorite part of the post mental hospital part of the movie 😭😭 And also Myers being a animal eater is scary lmao
You mean the Deckard character?
I'm not convinced Myers was eating the rats. Just like I don't believe he eats dogs. I really think he was using the rats like they're usually used -- to experiment on. Stuff he's going to eventually use on a victim. The rat was Alive and had pins in it. Myers was torturing it.
The eating dog thing happened because Loomis was trying to convince Sheriff Brackett to believe that Myers was dangerous when Brackett had no reason to think Myers was a problem. Remember, Myers was considered a model patient because he was pretty much comatose for 15 years. Myers killed dogs because dogs alert people and he can't have that. He's a professional stalker and dogs cramp his style. haha.
Also, think about it. Myers had no reason to eat a dog. He ate the previous night before he escaped And had access to any kitchen in Haddonfield he wanted. The dog eating thing is a Loomis lie to get the help he needed since no one believed him
@@LA_HA I agree with you but he ate a dog in Halloween 2 the remake 😷 😴
@@shutit4024 Well, for fans who consider RZ's Halloween movies cannon, anyway. haha.

Was waiting on this i like how you going through the whole series
Definitely my least-favorite of the franchise, but I have to admit the insanity of it made me enjoy it rather than hate it. But the original is still my favorite.
I'm not gon lie...im waiting to know how yuh felt on the Rob zombies Michael Myers cuz imo his was possibly one of my favorites just because of the true brutal killings he was doing left and right.
Yea I actually liked his first one but not his second one
Besides that one scene, Michael was Still treated with more respect to his fans more than Freddy in the ENTIRETY of Freddy's Dead when they just lampooned him.

If the ‘Rona was a Halloween movie… it’s this one for sure.
While watching this, I thought of a few idea that they COULD'VE used instead of this garbage.
1.) Don't make another one at all. (Well... H20 made a $55 million dollars so uhh... that's not gonna happen.)
2.) I know it didn't happen but the no Michael Myers idea again. There's so many original ideas they could've done with something horrifying happen on the Halloween season and could've made a great avenue for smaller unknown directions to make horror movies that would be seen by more people than it most likely would have otherwise. I know they originally wanted to for this movie's original development so why tf didn't they do it?
3.) Laurie is enjoying her retirement after finally stopping Michael Myers like maybe she wrote a book and has a new boyfriend. (Like her character in Freaky Friday.) But back in Haddonfield, murders start up once again and the town's teens seek out Mrs. Strode to come back to her hometown to help. Laurie, now taking a Loomis-like role must help them stop the killer who might be Michael or might just be a copycat who's been overly obsessed with Michael for years. (Kind of like the killer obsessed patient in this movie's opening or a Riddler-type nerd.)
4.) Maybe wipe everything completely for a new start and establish a fully new cast of characters who are attacked by a new killer who's built up as Michael throughout the film only to subvert your expectations in the final act.
5.) Maybe after killing Michael, Laurie begins to have a mental breakdown with psychotic thoughts like if Michael successfully broke her. And once Halloween rolls around again, she KILLS someone. Maybe her son or some trick-or-treater who happened to come to her house at the wrong time. She gets locked up in a mental asylum and murders of patients begin there as well AND it raises the question: Is Michael alive, or has Laurie gone full-blown insane because of her fucked-up life? It could be a great character study of what happens to the mind after 20 plus years of torment as a survivor that's so tragic and more psychological instead of blood-soaked slashing that could also make Michael scary in a new and modern way. (So yeah, basically a more thought out, better made and white horseless version of Rob Zombie's H2.)
Michael Myers on a reality show, how could that not be a good idea
🗣 “Michael Myers Is A Killer Shark, In Baggy Ass Overalls!” while wearing baggy ass ooveralls 🤣
Yo, I have never heard of this movie until today, but the idea of Busta Rhymes doin Karate for no good reason in a horror flick to whatever Michael Myers is, is just hilarious. It works as a parody/so bad it’s good but that’s about it. The only thing missing would have been a karate kid style bandana on Busta Rhymes as he did kung fu, and maybe a Goku style power up with blond dreads.
This review was better produced and more entertaining than the movie it is covering. Go figure. Well done once again sir!
Believe it or not. I thought the confrontation scene between Michael Myers & Laurie Strode was gonna be a post-ending credit scene.
I like Halloween resurrection lol yup i said it that scene where the guy in the clown mask is saying how many people Michael has killed as he's walking is pretty cool.
Not a bad scene, he does miss count some kills tho lol
@@3CFilms lol oh shit does he? I always liked it just Michael walking as the theme plays that is one of my favorite versions of the Halloween theme.
I agree this could have been way higher on people's favorite list if they had done just a few things different,
like you said, actually finding out something new about Michael would have been amazing,
like maybe he was adopted, it would have created more questions, like where did he actually come from,
an why does he have the link, if it is the throne stuff, or the shamrock stuff, maybe it could have been fleshed out way better,
or it could have been something even darker, who knows, the sky is the limit,
if done right people could have loved it,
not gonna lie, back in the day when this came out, an I was younger, I thought this was the coolest idea for a horror movie, it felt so fresh at the time,
of course now looking back it is pretty bad, not the worst thing, it was a novel idea that needed a few more rewrites, because of how so many thing's didn't add up or make sense,
an it needed more imaginative money shots,
but it was dumb fun,
I am very curious to hear your thoughts on Rob Zombie's Halloween films, mainly the first.
When me And my cousin Watch Resurrection We Both Questioned The Plot Why Is Michael Killing Randoms that Have Absolutely NO Connection to his Family Line
Do you think we can get another video of you reacting to negative/positive reviews of movies that you love/hate?
I can look into it!
yes I loved those videos
Jamie Lee Curtis says that when they were doing H2O there was a clause in the contract saying that they couldn’t kill Michael Myers on screen. And she said that absolutely defeats the purpose of why I am involved in this movie, so Kevin Williamson said what if you and the audience think that you’ve killed him!! She replies sarcastically with OK then if you do that and she ends up killing someone innocent then you have to put her in a mental institution and kill her off. Kind of hoping that they would get how ridiculous that was but instead they were like yeah let’s do it!
I was waiting for this for 3 hours
Anyone notice that doll she put those pills in is also the same doll on her dresser in the firsts movie
I'm surprised he didn't mention the part when decker told her not to scream and she screamed immediately after
Hey Chris what’s your favorite horror movie to watch during the Halloween season?
Halloween & Chucky series excluded.
January thru Sept = Friday the 13th parts 1-6.
Oct = Halloween series
November/December = Friday the 13th series parts 1-6.
I remember seeing resurrection in the movies, and didn't think it was too bad.......during the period, years later looking back.....yeah lol
Lol! Yeah, "WTF happened?!" is right. Remember in my comment on Halloween H2O where I said how that seemed to be a "step in the right direction" and a "breath of fresh air"? Well here came Halloween Resurrection to screw that all up. The Halloween series never had anything to do with reality TV up until this point and, while I am aware that it was in it's infancy at the time, it just doesn't fit this franchise. Like you said, uninteresting characters, a plot that has no business being in this franchise and Laurie getting killed off in the first fifteen minutes of the movie really knocked this down quite a few notches for me. There was that one line from Busta Ryhmes that has stood out for me since seeing this, however , and which I reused at the end of Halloween (2018) when Laurie kicked Michael into the burning basement (sorry, spoilers, we will get there shortly): " Trick-or-treat, muthah fuckah!". That was the only good thing that I got out of this whole movie. Now, in the words of a certain angry nerd, it's time to turn up that diarrhea dial, because the Rob Zombie remakes are next. It's like pukin' on a pile of shit covered candy.
Made me Moist doing these reviews Chris not gonna lie.
Does Michael getting back up after the beat down he got have anything to do with the cult and the curse?
For a second you can see dekker breaking down that door lol before gusta pols in lol. That was originally shot but changed. Cool trick r treat line lol. Yayyyyy crispy fried Michael lol. Yayyyyy rob zombies reboot lol.
You can somewhat put the blame to mustafa Akad. He was REALLY insist on making Michael survive after the events of H20 while the director wanted the timeline to end there
I saw this movie at a drive in at 10 years old with my dad lol. Even as a kid this movie did nothing for me.
Haha sorry to hear that
@@3CFilms it sucks the first halloween movie I saw in theaters was this one lol.

I was in my early 20s when Resurrection came out, back then and now I don’t think its that bad. Sure its not great but not the worst. Better then Rob Zombies movies. And I also didn’t mind the explanation, it was either that or the head puts itself back on the body 😂 yeah they kill Jamie Lee Curtis but I don’t mind. The reality show stuff I didn’t mind and I didn’t even find Busta annoying. The mask is better then 5, it looks kinda menacing

AMERICAN HORROR STORIES DID do the influencers in a house massacre plot line 20 years later after this lol
You know how this movie could be fixed? Make it where The Shape on set in Myers' house is a disgruntled cast member framing Michael. Have the coroner identify it's not him. And have the last 15 minutes be the real Michael vs Laurie scene.
Once again Michael Myers had to find yet another white mask and coveralls after leaving the last set behind.
Lol that one didn’t even occur to me, but true
I like this movie a lot actually, love the mask, and the actor Brad Loree played a really good Michael Myers
Lol i still find it funny to see jamie lee on the poster like its a big plot 😆
The dude with the curly hair reminded me of hyde from That 70’s show.. only a cheaper version
Thank god someone else likes this mask. I think its one of the best!
Idk if I'm the only1 that thought this but I always thought John(Josh Hartnett) in H20 looked like the Michael Myers mask his cheek bones & deep eyes were pretty much like Michael. So I always though him taking over as the mantel for Michael wouldve been great. So I came up with a sequel that takes some elements from Halloween resurrection. Not gonna say the whole plot but I'm also changing the ending of H20. Now when Michael is stretching his hand out to Laurie she extends her but b4 they can touch hands John is now the 1 that chops his head off. But Laurie took the blame since the kill was technically in cold blood it would lead to being locked up in the mental institute. So now it plays out like every Halloween, some kills happen with the Myers M.O . Laurie finds out & she starts thinking in her mind what if that wasnt Michael who got killed pretty much how it happens in insurrection & she knows he's coming for her. So Michael makes it there kills off the 2 security guards finally gets to Laurie she has the roof rigged just like in the movie & just like in the movie they get to the part where Laurie wants to make sure it's Michael only now she actually pulls the mask off that's when we see it's her son John this makes her freeze up allowing the ending to be how Michael stabs her then she falls to her death then he hands the knife off to the crazy guy framing him & it ends there.
This would've been so much better if it wasn't a Halloween movie. Hate to see Michael get treated that way. He is a horror God after all.
7:00 I'm not sure what connection exists here but in ancient times, most notably Judas who kissed Jesus, is considered the ultimate insult.
Hey Chris can you talk about the arm made Halloween movies
Oh boy, just wait til you see the RZ Halloween remakes
Ironically this was the first Halloween movie I’ve seen from the franchise lol
Michael follows Laurie to the rooftop down the corridor with a head of hair that looks like he's been electrocuted and then arrives on the rooftop with his hair all combed back 🙄 Then he's upside down and puts his hands to his ears looking like a cartoon character from Looney tunes 😀.
I like to believe that h2o ended that timeline and Halloween 2 ended the og timeline and ofc the new canon movie coming out is part of canon timeline
Resurrection is so outrageous, I love it 😅
They should make a movie about michael and his driving, like im sure he killed alot of ppl that cut him off, Road Rage Mikey would be dope i feel
Katee Sackhoff was in this? Haha. Didn't even notice.
DUDE ASH WILLIAMS COSTUME REQUEST!!
The batman and robin of the Halloween franchise
But how did he get his mask back?? Is my only question with this one
The issue with Halloween Resurrection is that it tries to sequelize a film that you cannot sequelize. H20 was an ending, and a good one. It was not a beginning.
Last video should be Halloween tier list
I don't believe Resurrection's retcon of Michael's H20 death. It breaks my suspension of disbelief. I feel the same way about the Blumhouse retcon of Halloween 1978's ending with Michael getting arrested.
