Friday the 13th is EXCELLENT compared to this film. At least an hour of the run time of this is the killer slowly walking...this is definitely not a remake of that awesome film. I am a huge horror fan and this movie bored the absolute living hell out of me to the point where I played games on my phone instead during all the walking scenes...Because I was trying to keep myself awake during this movie. I gave it 1 star on Letterboxd to be generous because at least the cinematography looked pretty for the long-as-heck nature shots. In my review, I said this is the definition of if the word monotone was a movie. The killer's pace never changed at all and characters literally sat and stared at him walking toward them slowly to kill them. And you could clearly see the prosthetics for the kills, like the ripples in the clothing where the weapon would hit and stuff. They literally could have just turned the kills into a short film because the rest was walking. They spent about 5 minutes alone on the killer standing up in one scene...
I think this movie will do well, but $100M? Sadly, I think the type of things that I have heard make this film better than most slasher films will also mean it won't make quite as much as them. so you fw it or not gang
@@Kid7EVEN I would totally watch it. I really hope I am able to see it in the theater. I’m from a family of horror fans 😂
@@gbear2253It’s really unique but like you said with modern society? I really hope it does well so we can actually get decent creative ideas like this one
@@Kid7EVEN me too 🙁!! Believe me, there are several movies that I WISH received more credit. Brilliant actors. Unknown actors with tremendous talent, making me feel as if the horror is real. I really feel that GREAT movies need to get much more support. Just because you mentioned it, I’m GOING to watch this in theatre with my horror fan fam LOL
@@gbear2253 agreed brother, Have fun !
This looks great I fear I missed it in the theaters. I would disagree Jason vorhees and Michael meters are the dumbest shallowest genuinely stupidest horror characters of all time. Not even scary for 12 year olds. Not even one dimensional. I hope this is better.
I saw this and was extremely disappointed. It’s not a good movie. 👎
I thought it was great.
Please! You cried for your mother.

@@carolinafine8050 You bit:)
@@geraldbroflovski8114 my sentiments are a bit different.. but not by much. Just add a “ch” to bit and you’re pegged.
All these movie directors in the comment section. 😂
It's not surprising that younger audiences will hate this because you guys's idea of horror it's just lots of blood guts and violence. You don't appreciate the uncomfortableness of the stocking of the predatory nature of what an animal is. This movie combines the fact that reminds people we are animals. John Carpenter would be proud of a movie like this just like Wes craven. This is horror this is what horror is supposed to be not just go vomit gross but more than anything and unsettling feeling that builds up from just the darkness and something being their haunting you is what we get out of ghost stories. You don't understand what you're saying and doing because you're too young to appreciate it
Unfortunately true, But so far seems to be a lot of old school horror fans hating on it. But you have very valid points here
@@Kid7EVEN Man you don't have to validate them. People who play to "age = wisdom" card and talk down to anyone younger than them are jokes.
i absolutely love this movie 👍👍 extremely gorey 🩸🩸
Boy I want to see this one 🫣 sounds Good 😃
It is really is good! it’s a fun one!
