    It seems China is really making EVs available for everyone! Surely at the prices indicated, it is better than motorcycles when those in the rural areas in the developing countries will surely benefit from such products. Though these developing economies will have to improve the quality of their roads to accommodate such units otherwise they may not last very long! Of course, in China with her ever improving road construction, this problem may not be such a challenge.

      If China surpasses America at capitalism on its more observatory solutions to consumers supply demands it surely will be a multi polar world. Which as a reforming Chevrolet driver I'm looking at options in China eagerly, as well as looking at it's phenomenal rise to power with its rail program and it's new aircraft carrier. I said long ago China and Russia seek to legitimize not just political relations but consumer relations as well. There are people against this. I'm one who cheers for the success of different parties as we can both find balance. Americans are tired of the same old overpriced under engineered transit options. Anyone in the 5k range brand new is a niche void to fill

    Wait for you to try the BYD Song DMi Plus and HAVAL xlong Max (both 4.7M+) selling at $23000 only which can run 1000KM full tank and fully charged.

    In singapore its 500% more expensive eoth S$150,000 gor a piece of paper called certificate of entitlement valod for 10 years plust s$160,000 for the car , u pay around
    S$300,000 for this same car .

      we have local brands they're making mini ev and its cheap actually but not that good
      if you want to look some examples (search on Google)
      RKS A1 50 km/h speed, 110 km range
      RKS D2 (its around 14-15K) 150km range, 80 km/h speed
      etc. except some of them, generally price is around 7-10K dollar.

    These really need to be imported to the West as quadricycles... Most people could probably get away with these vehicles and not need anything larger or more expensive for anything but the longest occasional road trips... I'd personally take the Baojun Yep which looks like an old Jeep but you know... ELECTRIC!

    Battery capacity is measured in KILOWATT HOURS, not 'kilowatts' 'which is motor power). That's a very silly mistake to make when comparing EVs.

    Canada should allow a 90 KPH top speed delivery vans into Canada . Set up a special insurance category for these vans since they do not pass our crash testing in most cases . Inner city delivery where speeds are often under 50 KPH

    Don't patronize chinese EV cars they are not reliable some are fire hazard because of their battery, they are just like disposable watches. Buy Japanese, American and European EV cars rather than Chinese which are cheap but low quality.

      Guess what? I've taken our MG ZS EV into Water jet wash that includes underbody wash MANY TIMES! Not just that I drove into that underbody REALLY SLOW!! Many people thought I'd be electrocuted from that! Service station staffs religionised me as their regular patron! Have this car for 3 years!

    There's a fundamental difference between kW and kWh that you need to understand.
