Thank you so much. I bought a Nahvalur Nautilus and the piston came out and won’t go back in. This video is a God send.
Glad it was useful!
I have a first issue in black ebonite and bronze clip and trim for a few years. It is a lovely pen. I did have some issues with the nib but lately, the nibs have been improved significantly. I did find the Wing Sung wrench works very well.
Great review.
Thank you! Glad to hear you enjoy the pen too, and the black with bronze trim is one of my favorite options!
Interesting, thank you!
Thanks!
Its one of my favourite pens. I have the Berry version and its just a beautiful pen. I was surprised how good the F nib is (writes more like a M) althought I took this on BB which had baby s bottoms (surprisingly the BB was writing more like a M-B, its my first experience with Narwhal pens so I dont know whats going on with the width of their nibs really). Also, I love the ebonite smell for some reason, not too strong of a smell (like the Ahab for instance), its just right. Great pen overall, unique, big and light at the same time.
Glad you enjoy this pen too! It’s interesting you saw so much variation in nib sizes. I don’t personally get much of an ebonite smell from mine (not sure if that’s a good or bad thing🤣)
Enjoy your reviews, however I'm curious why you use a Sharpie and a Pilot G2 when doing pen comparisons. It would, in my opinion, seem to make more sense to use other fountain pens like most other reviewers do. Just curious
Thank you! I decided to use a Sharpie and G2 because I figure most people will likely have those around their house. I wanted to also give a reference of non-fountain pen items because some people may be just getting into the hobby and aren't familiar with other models.
But you can add a well known one such as a Lamy Safari.
@@SalBC62 Thanks for the rec! I remember when I first got into the hobby I didn’t have one as a point of reference. I figure most people will have a Sharpie or G2 laying around the house. But I will consider including a Safari in future videos.
Talk about cross threading. Man. If it wasn't for that great medium point it came with, I'd toss it. Definitely not a happy camper.
Unfortunately it led me to sell this one. I really liked many aspects of this one, but felt like I was going to damage it sooner or later.
Mine has come apart twice. first time I was very annoyed as I'd paid close to two c's for it. After affirming the original purchase I sent it back. It came back fixed. After a year it came apart again. I'm very unhappy with their service,& the quality of the reliability. Bought it the New Jersey outfit. The service is not up to U.S. client service. Buy Chinese it's still Chinese. Not a happy camper.
I’m sorry you had so many issues, where did it come apart from?
