- Sky News host James Morrow says Massachusetts’s latest bill is “straight out of” George Orwell’s 1984.
The Massachusetts Senate have voted to update the state’s parentage law, which includes replacing ‘mother’ with ‘person who gave birth’.
“It is an attack on the families,” Mr Morrow told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“It’s something straight out of George Orwell.
“This is exactly what the newspeak was in 1984, that he warned against.
“But of course these people think 1984 was an instruction manual.”
As an American, it is a shame I have to watch Sky News to learn how extreme wokeness is in some states.

Fox News is another source that is more domestically available to discover the truth about extreme and bizarro policies that exist in this country. This is what happens when you have a party that stands up for the oppressed “minorities” of men who can get pregnant and people who oppose gender-centric terms such as mother and father. Massachusetts has become a sanctuary for illegals(unless you go to Martha’s Vineyard) and transgender people. Thus, when the minorities control everything, the rest of us are left to live in their own self-made reality. Or we fight and get ourselves crucified by the megaphone-holding press that will call us homophobic and racist. Best to stay in the shadows and wait for the right moment to pounce on the issue. Beat the enemy when they’re at their weakest.
When children are considered property of the state, the concept of parentage becomes a threat to the state.

So true. I still live here in the house my dad and I helped build. That is the only reason I am still here. Massachusetts has always been a California want to be and it is disgusting. On the street where I live, we all grew up with guns, fast cars, fast motorcycles and I even started a performance engine rebuild shop in the garage my dad and I built. When I say built, I mean we cut the trees, brought them to a lumber place to have them cut into boards, poured the cement foundation from a cement mixer my dad bought, built the chimney and installed 2 wood stoves. This has always been a good place to raise a family and now hearing all these people who weren't here before arguing to ban guns, ban stoves and ban everything they don't like is sickening. This neighborhood that had an average of 3+ kids for every house has less than 10 kids total now. My dad and mom were never political people and, other than supporting JFK just stayed away from politics together. Now, they are both gone and I still live here. My daughter, who is a married conservative homeowner lives on a connecting road that is around 3/4 of a mile away.

Building a wall was the most humane way of dealing with illegal immigration. And it sends the message that you will be required to be a legal participant in the American experience. It’s bad enough when people are generally threatened by immigration ,but then to thumb their noses at laws that we are bound to it taints the community of citizens.

I plan to but l fear it will only delay the fall of not only the US but the West in general. The Long March Through the Institutions has closed in on its goal. Starting in academia it spread institution to institution. Department to Department. Field of study to field of study. Starting in the humanities it has now begun to capture the STEM fields. How many millions of graduates have already been poisoned. How many more will graduate just this year with minds that are poisoned. It is not a liberal vs conservative narrative. It is literally a poison that teaches them to hate everything in their culture. Its traditions, its music, its food, its literature, its spiritual values, everything. And these people are not going away. The only thing that will wake them up is a hard dose of reality. And that hard dose is likely going to be a severe economic downturn.
What's in the future? One thing l fear is dictatorship from the Left. Far too many young people today are not only willing but eager to give Socialism or worse Communism a chance. The one thing Socialist or Communist societies are good at is making almost everyone economically equal (1). Equally poor. And they are also equally good at becoming police states.
How do we fix things? A big part of the problem is the few getting richer while everyone else stagnates or slips. Real wages adjusted for inflation haven't gone up for far too many Americans. Plus in the last 30 or 40 years far too many jobs that could support a family have disappeared. Maybe not all of those jobs could support a family in style. But they put food on the table. I'm not saying all of those jobs could have been saved. A lot of those jobs were lost for various reasons. Companies that couldn't compete or adapt to the market always go under. Some employees bargained their way out of being competitive. I'm thinking about the UAW mainly. But their industry's problems are equally shared by management. Poor product decisions mainly. Some other industries have been done wrong by their own government. The US used to have the largest machine tool industry in the world. Then the Federal government allowed foreign manufacturers to warehouse new machines in US ports prior to going through customs. A Japanese manufacturer could deliver a new CNC or manual machine tool from stock. In a minimum amount of time. The equipment only went through customs when shipped. With no inventory taxes paid while the machines sat in the warehouse. Meanwhile US manufacturers had to pay inventory taxes on everything. Any completed machines, spare parts, unfinished machinery and of course their facilities. Almost all of these companies are gone now. Or a mere shadow of themselves. And that is just one industry. And the machine tool industry is the bedrock on which any manufacturing enterprise is built.
He could only delay the inevitable. There’s gonna be only 1 way to fix all this nonsense, and I think it’s coming..

Come to states like Tennessee, Alabama, the Southern US. But small towns and rural areas. Just about every larger city is being corrupted by the Woke , and trurning blue . Small towans and rural areas still have conservative Christian morals and beliefs , helping our neighbors, ….it’s the fast disappearing old America.
