  • *A Warning for Gen-Z and Millenials:*
Freddie Smith on TikTok, he is great and a fellow Floridian, made a video about where someone said when will millennials stop complaining about the cost of living?
He asks a rebuttable to that question and says what would it take for you to speak up and say something?
Does the price of gas or the price of milk have to get to $28 a gallon before you speak up?
What kills me… is seeing people say.. give up Publix and go shop at Aldi for groceries.
Someone commented and said, “i’m so tired of the answer to this problem being go shop at aldi instead of groceries should just be affordable”
Someone also said: Does Aldi sponsor you guys in the comments? I’m sorry, but you can tell a major difference in quality between Aldi and literally any other grocery store.
COULD NOT AGREE MORE on those points.
    *Reagan on Inflation*
“Government has only two ways of getting money other than raising taxes. It can go into the money market and borrow, competing with its own citizens and driving up interest rates, or it can print money. and it’s done that. Both methods are inflationary.
We’re victims of language. The very word inflation leads us to think of it as just high prices. Then, of course, we resent the person who puts on the price tags, forgetting that he or she is also a victim of inflation.
Inflation is not just high prices. It’s a reduction in the value of our money. When the money supply is increased, but the goods adn services available for purchasing are not, we have too much money chasing too few goods.”
Once the gold standard was abandoned, there was no way to stop the politicians from spending.
*People are Becoming Less Tolerable and Impatient*
So I’ve noticed something in the last few years: people have become meaner as a whole. But I think the saying goes that good times:
“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
I’d say we’re in a hard time right now with runaway inflation, the way things are going with the government in terms of overreach on everything, and many other factors that play to the mix.
As a whole, I noticed that people have become nasty to each other, and that may include being mean or to servers, not being as tolerable when being out in public.
Even when you let somebody in on the interstate, you don’t even even get a way back anymore. Thanks for letting me in you get nothing..
But it’s like this, not that this is an excuse for people to just be total jerks, but when people are struggling financially, barely able to make ends meet, on the news that the world ending for whatever reason today, It does create a situation where people are just less tolerable.
I mean, even saying things like thank you are no longer common. Like sometimes I have to tell my dad say please and thank you to the server, you know. Or can you say, can you please bring me some napkins instead of can you bring me some napkins? Little things like that make people more aware and thankful for your presence.
We’re dealing with people negotiating contracts. Some people think that the world revolves around them, and they can just break the terms of a contract at any given time with no repercussions when they signed a contract like hello.
My mom told me a story about this 70-something-year-old grandmother who was walking into a bank or whatever, and there was someone there, and they were recording with their phone. I don’t know why they were recording or what they were doing, but the grandmother slapped at the person and said you can’t record me and the person responded with this is a public place I can record you. So the grandmother slapped him, and then he said to me, you can either apologize to me, or I’m gonna call the cops, and you’re gonna go to jail, and I’m gonna press charges.
I mean, you can go on the Internet and find plenty of instances where people will just get into an argument in the middle of Walmart over a shirt that someone’s wearing or a hat that someone’s wearing or whether or not someone’s wearing a mask or you know it’s like crap like that. What happened to people just minding their own damn business. Like people just need to worry about themselves and not what everybody else is doing.

I agree about intolerance. We are stretched so thin that minor inconveniences have turned into full on panic attacks for some people. I know two people this year that had to be rushed to emergency over panic attacks. The fall of the republic for the people has been very depressing and stressful. There’s nothing we can do anymore, but turn to God. It’s completely out of the peoples control now.
