Facts! The Nothing by Korn was an outstanding album as was Tools latest album. 90s / 2000 bands as you said just are in a different league in comparison to today’s.

That’s what’s so smart about them. The incremental change they made through each album secured a sense of acceptance of experimentation in its audience. It allows for us to have a much larger framework for what we aspect Deftones to be, so no how matter how different or similar certain things are, it’s still Deftones :)

Ohms is straight fire. Killer album.
solid 10/10. I love all of the songs on the album, as soon as I hear the opening synth on Genesis I get pumped, and by the time Ohms plays I feel the emotion of the album coming to an end. Such a great album. I literally consider it to be my favorite album of all time, and even though it came out just last year, it's my most listened to album ever. First time I listened to it, I put it on repeat for like 10 times in a row, it was just an insane experience.

Dude for real. These guys have been my favorite band since I first heard the Self-titled album when it came out in 2003. I'm 31 now and this is easily one of the best songs I've ever heard from them.

for the longest time Tool and Nine Inch Nails were my two favorite bands, I always really liked the Deftones but they were behind those two for sure. Lately i think the Deftones have passed NIN because they are still putting out great music. The last couple albums have all been amazing
