Been thinking about this a lot lately. I get that every Deftones album is someone's favourite, and every Deftones album is disliked by some as well. I'm going to tell you about why Ohms will always have a special place in my heart. In fall of 2020, my kids were finally going back to school...Or were they? My 2 boys, at the time aged 8 & 11 were absolutely terrified of catching covid from a school mate. Nothing I could say would bring their anxiety down. Crying and that look of "Dad, are you sending me to my death?" look that i saw in their eyes, gave me ulcers and tore at my heart. It didn't help that my wife already has depression and anxiety issues, so I felt I was the rock trying to put out a gas fire with my bare hands. Needless to say that eventually my mental health took a beating. When Ohms was released, it was the best medicine I could have ever asked for to re-solidify my mental strength. Not gonna lie, the first time I heard the album, I was a ball of tears sitting alone in my basement. NOTHING could have helped me more that this release. It was like the whole F'ing world was collapsing, but this was a lifeline. It literally pulled me back into a safe "Hey, there's the world I know" state of mind. Even to this day, when I watch the Headless reaction video on youtube, it gives me goosebumps. BTW... You need to see it...Here So..... For me, Ohms will always be something a little more than just a great album. It was a MUCH needed cure for what seemed like one of my darkest times on this planet. Paul Edmonton Alberta

funny that she grabs his hand, because this was our new dance song with my gf, this song starts for a dirty dance and then you connect with your partner so beautifuly. It's like you want to dance close and sweat while justs dancing, and then in the chorus you just want to have your girl close to you. And it repeats, and then the second chorus gives you more time to just connect with your partner. THIS SONG IS AMAZING.
