    There are many different anxiety disorders they include;
    1) GAD, general anxiety disorder
    2) Panic disorder
    3) Social anxiety disorder
    4) Post-traumatic stress disorder
    5) Obsessive-compulsive disorder
    This test is designed to see if you have GAD, general anxiety disorder.
    I will be asking you 8 questions on anxiety, the questions are as follows;
    1) Do you worry every day and feel like you can't control it?
    2) Do you worry about different activities or events happening in your life?
    3) Are you constantly on edge?
    4) Do you become tired easy?
    5) Does your worry or feelings control what you do or don't do in your life?
    6) Do you get muscle tension?

    Anxiety is planning out a whole conversation with someone in your head. Then thinking of the worst case scenario that can happen from that conversation and just don’t end up talking at all. Lol

      in that case wouldn't the most straight foward solution be always being prapered, or not caring to much about the other person opinion? or ig instead of concentratin on the worst to concentrate on the best.

      i'm not neccessarily just saying this as a hypotesis, cause there was a time i also this type of anxiety having trouble getting words or jokes out cause i would spend to much time thinking bout it and then the time would pass or not being sure if it was actually funny, but eventually you just learn what are acceptable jokes to make, or things to say, once you get an idea of what are ok things to say, for that you need to be socially aware, then eventually you will start getting used to what to say in conversations and what jokes to make, and then boom you will blurt it out without even thinking bout it, preferebly you dont get to that point, but if that aliviates the burden of overthinking then maybe is better that way. I can just tell you at the time when i still had problems i didn't really self diagnosis with anything i just assumed i didn't have enough experience, which is why at a certain point i just stop myself thinking past the making of the joke, and just saying it, even if it would pheraps interrupt the convo or out of place, sometimes it went shit sometimes it went good, it didn't always go well but eventually via practice ur brain learns, if have no concept of a joke at all, or you dont know what to say you can always what some podcast (of normal conversations on some topics) and get an idea, get reference of things or you can try talking like them, then once you get the basics down you personal interest and humor will eventually find its way up.
      this is why good comedians are rarity, cause they are able to step out of line from basic npc jokes, its risky but they can still make people laugh, part of the journey to overcoming anxiety is accepting the risk in trying things

    Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.

      The Trips I've been having have really helped me a lot,I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well

      Bacon Cat, In life there are only 2 problems--mind and the body. To feel better reduce overthinking. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, at work, when reading, before sleep etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

      If you see someone there that you know, then that mean they understand, and they may not bring it up to you afterwards because it would be awkward for them too. It's unlikely you'll see someone you know there. My psychiatrists have told me that they will keep everything so private that they won't even wave at me in public in case other people know who she is. :)

    Told my doctor got meds, took them as needed like prescribed for about a week. No therapy was suggested, after a week I feel great. I haven’t needed the meds because I feel better. I also made some lifestyle changes, like working out and switching jobs. I’m going to meet with some new friends today and I’m going to take my meds just in case🧚🏾‍♀️🥰 I usually say no to social gatherings but I’m going to try harder. Plus it’s a church event for ladies so it seems right😃

    Good thing about anxiety: results usually ends up way better since you already went through all worst possible situations you can be in
    For example: you get anxiety and starts to panic before the presentation, but when you are really presenting you would most likely to focus on the presentation and get less anxiety. Turns out 90% of the time I was just overthinking and those situations never actually happen
    The worst thing for me is that when I knew I am going to present but seeing everyone before me did like 10times better than me but the teacher is still pointing out problems, I was legit crying but also holding my tears back to make me not being more embarrassed

    To the people here who have social anxiety, never stop interacting with people and having positive thoughts about yourself. It's actually a phase or an aftermath and your parents are true about this. What's the worst gonna happen when meet someone, you might stutter, you might feel high (eyes dilating, tunnel hearing) but after all that you will make a connection with that person. After all, this thoughts or beliefs are in that small brain in the head. Anxiety is basically fear and fear causes your heart to pump blood faster and that means you are healthy and you have a full functioning body. So do not make this small things a big part of your life, there are many things to achieve and beautiful people to meet. You are courageous and strong, I believe in you.

    I have only today decided I must have had PTSD since I was abused at the age of 5. This was blocked out of my mind until I enroled in a counselling course when I was 60 and it all started coming back. 10 years on and I had counselling/therapy myself last year and am managing to work through things. Please don't wait. Get some help so you can enjoy your life. We only get one life, don't waste it

      I’ve been to the doctor multiple times for it and she even requested I see a therapist (I said no bc y’know social anxiety is a pain) but I’ve never been officially diagnosed. I’m pretty sure it’s self diagnosable if you’re constantly worrying for no reason. We all feel like we’re only making it up (I do sometimes as well) but that’s honestly just the anxiety itself.

    My first time having an anxiety attack it was a week ago, I felt my upper body week, hardly breathe, no chest pain at all, left arm felt tingly and really dizzy. Luckily I work at a hospital I got an EKG and chest X-rays, everything came out really fine and the doctor told me it was an anxiety attack. So my problem is that I keep thinking of diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and heart attacks. So that is what trigger my anxiety.

      Therapy was $300 per session so I was only able to see him for a few sessions. 😔 Too bad they didn't accept insurance cause I really need to tell a therapist about my suspected mental illness-

      I start to feel unable to breathe, and then I start to listen to whatever was happening as if it was happening under the water or in another dimension. Then I feel like My body was made up of ice or something, because I feel very cold, and unable to move. ☹️

    Nice video. In life there are only 2 problems--mind and the body. To feel better reduce overthinking. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations when taking a walk, at work, when reading, before sleep etc. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.

    i’m physically unable to walk around a classroom like if i need to get up and get a book i can’t do it i’ll ask a friend to get it for me and i also turn bright red when talking to strangers

    When it comes to disorders often coming hand in hand, that’s absolutely true. I struggle with BPD (borderline personality disorder) and her tag-along friends OCD, panic disorder, social anxiety, and depression. (And yes, I have an actual diagnosis for all of the above.) it SUCKS. But such is life. I’ve doing that therapy, medication, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) work really well.

    I've been always anxious since I was a kid. I usually have increased anxiety when I leave home but it's always there. It feels terrible always being nervous and my head just doesn't stop working, it just sucks. It even hits me when I play video games or reading something, never a moment of true peace...

    It’s the worst feelings ever!! Just an overwhelming feeling of sadness and grief in my heart ❤️ YES! This is where I feel it. Don’t want to get out of bed, but don’t want to stay in bed because if I do the feelings are so intense I have to get up! Having to work extremely difficult. Having to take a shower ,getting dressed ,driving my car ,being around others. No matter what I do it’s just too much of a task. The mental pain is very difficult to explain. Other people just won’t get it. So sick of feeling this way. I pray to God for him to please remove this deep depression and anxiety from me. So many different medications.

    God please help All that is suffering with anxiety and depression. I pray that you remove all of the pain in their heartS. I Love ❤️ you GOD..

    I'm mastering the shit out of anxiety! got 7/8 today and realized that when I started therapy 3 years ago I'd probably get 4 or 5/8 on this test. I'm so excited for my future!

    I also suffer from a panic attack. It's horrible. It's a trap when you think to get rid of it or escape it then will bring more panic. You might be more panic by thinking about how to escape the panic. You should face the situation. Remember when you try to forget something you can't forget at same time when you try to always remember something you can't remember it. Dealing with panic is something like that don't try to forget it try to facing remember it and always welcome it. You might be realise that by you are start building confident against your fear. Be positive

    I used to have a lot of anxiety for my health, because of headaches or constant pains that happened on my body, now I have depression for situations that happens in my life and still have pains sometimes but I got used to it
