Hope you continue down the Beatles rabbit hole....greatest band EVER
I will and I shall!
Fascinating to see reactions to The Beatles (& others) in 2023 but hearing this stuff the 60's was totally far out.
An absolute masterpiece, this song has everything. A great melody, a deep meaning and an anthem that everybody will sing to.
It's amazing seeing people's faces light up when they realise that the "Na na na naaaa" song is Hey Jude by The Beatles
Hey Jude was the biggest hit by the Beatles in the USA, staying at #1 for 9 weeks!
You really should watch the live version when they were on the David Frost show. You can find it on RUclips. The whole audience joins in.
The GREATEST FADE OUT IN RECORDED HISTORY = FACT
You will love Dear Prudence by them . The harmonies and instruments is a joy
There is always a moment of recognition for people who haven't heard beatles songs before. Its because they hear these songs when they are very young and it makes an impression. Thats how good the Beatles are. "Oh yeah! I remember that from when I was in diapers!"
Only The Beatles can sing nanana na for four minutes and make you love it.
That's how you do a reaction of The Beatles, comfortable on your sofa and in silence, much respect brother💪🏻
My thoughts exactly!
And I continue to watch your Beatles reaction videos, and I find your show excellent and enjoyable! Which is why I want to see a Nico and Vinz performance video done by you!
A perfectly joyful reaction. Much fun to witness.
I’ll be looking for that show from YOU!!! I think this one would hit you!
Welcome to our Beatles heaven.
SO MANY from these geniuses to listen to.
GOAT’s for a reason,influenced everyone.
Come together for the next Beatles
Adding to the list!
Sport fans often sing this when their team has scored a goal.
I've seen McCartney in concert a bunch of times, and he virtually always does Hey Jude as an audience singalong. More hardened Beatle fans profess to be bored with it, but I could sing it along with him and just keep going on and on!
Since you just listened to Hey Jude, the natural follow-on would be Revolution, which was the B-side to the Hey Jude/Revolution single. As with several Beatles singles, one side was a Paul song (Hey Jude), and the other was a John song (Revolution). The same is true for the singles Paperback Writer/Rain, Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields Forever and Get Back/Don't Let Me Down.
Can't Buy Me Love / You Can't Do That, I Feel Fine/She's A Woman, Help!/I'm Down, arguably Day Tripper/We Can Work It Out...
Imposible que nunca hayas escuchado esta canción!!!
Six minutes of na na na na na....and you continue listening.....only The Beatles can do that!
I absolutely LOVE the message on your sweatshirt!
By the way, the Beatles also have a song called “Rain.”. Absolutely mind blowing; maybe Ringo’s best of all his Beatles drumming tracks! Brilliant Lennon song, all about setting an emotional tone or mood.
The Beatles/Savoy Truffle from the White Album, their only double album which is filled with great and memorable tracks, Savoy Truffle being only one!
Paul wrote this for John's son, Julian. McCartney improvised all of the screaming, live on tape. They recorded this at Twickingham Studios, on film. There was an instrumental backing track but the vocals were live, if I remember correctly. During one of the performances, they let people in who were outside hoping to see the band. It was presented on David Frost's television show. They recorded it the same day they recorded Revolution on film.
I believe Julian was going through a tough time with his mother (John's first wife) and Paul was close to Julian. It was first "Hey Julian" but changed it to "Jude".... as I understand it. Great little tune and nice sentiments.
I think the video was planned the way it was from the start, I don’t think they just let people in.
It was recorded in the recording studio first, then it was performed live in Twickingham Studios later, multiple takes, one take was for the music video, another for David Frost’s show. David taped an introduction with The Beatles there for his show as well.
@@Elias_Veine_Wiig I believe for the Frost show, at least some of the vocals had to be live due to laws in England against lip syncing performances on TV. (read that somewhere) They certainly did record the instruments ahead of time, just like they did for the All You Need Is Love performance.
@@mlong1958 There isn't the same lead vocals for the album studio version and the live version, so the vocals for the album version wasn't recorded at Twickingham. The backing isn't completely the same either, as it was live. See the orchestra behind them in the dark background on the video version? Two different recorded version. The Revolution video, recorded at the same studio the same day was with studio backing.
A song to sing along in the car when it comes on the radio!
The next Beatles album to listen to is Abbey Road. But a very import part of Abbey Road is that tracks 9-17 are a medley and MUST be listened to as one song without interruption. They are not standalone tracks.
Yep, not good to break between those tracks.
@@jamespenny9482 he did it with the sgt peppers album, he stopped when the tracks played together.
You should do "Magical Mystery Tour" next. That's my favorite album.
Beautiful natural reaction brother, keep up the good work man
Thanks so much Scott, I appreciate you giving this a watch!
Who else could repeat the same 11 syllables for 5 minutes, and you still want more?
start at the beginning, go chronologically to see how the Beatles evolved, that's the only way to truly understand the metamorphosis of the Beatles and how they led the way changed popular and rock music.
The song was about John Lennon five years old son Julian Lennon Paul McCartney wrote this song about him
It is surprising to learn the number of younger folks that only know the ending of this song because of Brentford FC.
You nailed the theme of the the song.
“Jude” is Julian, a little boy at the time who was (is) John Lennon’s son. John was in the middle of divorcing his mom Cynthia for Yoko Ono. Uncle Paul was coming to heal the broken heart of “Jude” (Julian). Julian and his brother Sean Ono Lennon have become very good musicians in their own right. I guess it runs in the family!
This song holds the distinction of being "the most popular song of the most popular band ever." No. 1 song of 1968.
Quite a few 60s, 70s and 80s artists had what you could anthem style songs, Hey Jude was one of those. Stairway to Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody, Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, all worth a listen. If you had never heard Hey Jude I’m guessing these will also be new to you..
Still the most positive, understanding, encouraging song I’ve ever heard. Started off as a song to comfort John Lennon’s little son, but listen. Clearly Paul is telling John he understands and to go get Yoko. So loving and amazingly loving.
Like this!!
Hey bulldog from the Beatles yellow Submarine album
Dude, if you are open to playing suggestions, please get Nico and Vinz at the 20th Nobel Peace Prize Concert! They will introduce them as “Envy”, which was the name of the Norwegian band they founded in 2009. Prepare to be completely shocked and blown away!!!
Yo cool shit man beatles become my favourite band last year 2 many bangers they have, for no one or Eleanor rigby, yesterday, let it be just literally 2 many to name much love hope u continue reacting ❤🙏
Thanks for giving this a watch bro! send any recommendations you have :)
@@StillColour definitely some more beatles my favourite since I started listening last year here comes the sun, in my life or for no one next love you're channel bro
Jude is Julian Lennon,Paul wrote it for him when his mum and dad spilt up when John got together with Yoko,so Paul was saying just let her in and life will sort it out just be happy
Want an album? How about the one this came off of? There's the history of the Beatles right in front of you.
Paul wrote this song for John's son, Julian. John and his wife, Cynthia were going through a divorce with poor Julian caught in the middle (sadly, as children are). The original lyrics were "Hey Jules, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better..." Paul would try his best to comfort Julian through those times, even years later, buying some of John's memorabilia anonymously (at the time) when it came up for auction and gave it to Julian so he would have stuff that had been John's. Julian said that at that time, he spent more time with Paul than his own father. Later, John would think Paul was talking to him in the part "You were made to go out and get her" meaning his new love with Yoko, but, really, it was most likely a bit about Paul's new relationship with Linda Eastman. This is an Iconic Song.
Btw most of the songs r written by Paul and John and sang by them with like 5% of George this is Paul McCartney v distinctive voices they have
Jude is John Lennon’s son Julian
Written by Paul for jullian Lennon because John abandoned him and his mom for yoko.
For another permanent and beautiful anthem check Lennon’s “So This Is Christmas (War Is Over)”
Great reaction
Try their contemporaries The Who " I can See for Miles ..." ( and miles and miles ) lol
Thanks for the recommendation! adding to the list
@@StillColour The Who are definitely worth a listen, they were pals with the Beatles. Keith Moon and Ringo were great friends and Monnie was even Zak Starkey's godfather and gifted him hist first drumset.
Besides any album of theirs, you should watch The Kids Are Alright film which is a documentary/chronological video archive that shows all of the mayhem that went on with that band. Amazing film!!
How many other bands from over 50 years ago have 50+ of their songs played by hundreds of reactors EVERY day? Answer: NONE... GOAT of goats.
You’ve got to hear and see the live version….Paul’s playing the piano….
