  • Just in time for Dreamcast Day here's a custom Sega Saturn inspired Dreamcast.
    This is a Japanese VA0 Dreamcast that was being sold as "junk" from a second-hand store. Everything works fine and it's looking a lot better than it was.

      Navy would look amazing! I'm pretty sure I ordered the wrong color actually haha but the metallic has grown on me

    The blue buttons are a little too hot for my taste, but it's still strikingly beautiful. I love the matte gray and black accents, nice work.

      Thanks! I ordered metallic by accident haha, but I like it now paired with the controller. I may try a darker blue someday, but I'd like to swap the orange LED for a blue one. That might tie it together better

      That'd look awesome, I'll probably order one in the future and I need to replace the controller port fuse anyways

    Did you you use sand paper on this?
    What steps did you take to achieve these results?

    • @raccooncitycinema
      @raccooncitycinema  2 года назад +1

      Yes, I did give it a light sanding. Other than that nothing special really. I used a gray primer, and then I used Tamiya spray cans and finally gave it a layer or two of clear coat.

      @@raccooncitycinema did you use a primer, and which one if you did?

      @@oniunleashedx5183 yes I did, but I'm sorry I don't remember. I think it was just a Tamiya spray can or a gray color. I did rough up the plastic a bit with a fine sand paper I think.
