I used to play this top down, I think German, driver license game, where you really had to stop at lights & follow the of roads law etc. It was awesome for some reason.

Actually.... there was a game by Sierra called drivers Ed 99. Take the written test then get in your super low poly car and follow all of the road rules.
He's previously played the Nerd character up as someone who's totally new to modern gaming, most particularly in the Godzilla episode. James himself definitely isn't ignorant about non-console games.
Both games were great. I can hardly recognise it from the port. That thing is awful. James is even raging about some things which were actually fun features originally, like how the tracks are just a suggestion and not meant to be Mario kart. But that port is so awful, and he hasn't played the original so it's understandable that many features seem like bugs. It's actually on mobile and the port isn't half bad. Made commutes fun and nostalgic.
At least it has more single player content than the majority of Smash Ultimate. James has got to look at that game. It's one of the most disappointing games to ever be made by Nintendo themselves (Right up there with the CDI games, Zelda 2, The Super Mario Bros Movie, Or shovelware they agreed to put on their consoles).

caremageddon is still super fun on the pc. Except for the running people over to get points part. The ai is great and the arenas and maps are as fun as they come. But the nerd is reviewing the n64 version.
