- When you're a creative person, sometimes, the creative juices, need a little break.
So I went to Cornwall for a week with my family, and it was the break I needed, to recharge my soul.
Follow along for great Cornwall sights, outfits I made myself, and a lovely chat from my soul to yours.
In this video I wore:
The Sommar Camisole Pattern from Paradise Patterns,
The Protea Trousers from Paradise Patterns.
Swimsuit on the first swim was from a clothing company called Whistles.
Jeans are from Mango - they are called the Matilda jeans and honestly, they are such, such good jeans.
I brought other me-mades, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow for a lot of easy breezy clothes, as it did get quite windy in Cornwall.

It’s after midnight here, and I’m awake hoping my 6-month-old stays asleep, tired and feeling like a zombie but I couldn’t help chuckling during your unedited footage 😆 I hope it helped to take your mind off your bladder! I absolutely hate needing to pee during road trips (hubby always reassures that “we’re almost there” for the hour it takes to get to the next stop 😫). This video brought a smile to my heart! Its good to get away. My husband and I did the same in Port Angeles, WA, you can see Victoria Canada. We did some cold water therapy hiked went to the top of Blue mountain it was nice. Look like you had a great time also. No I didn't get to wear any sewn garments but I am sewing a crochet like knit top for a concert in a couple of days. Way to go with the teen compliment.

Each time I see that you have posted anew video my old withered heart sings a little! A bit fanciful I know, but really I enjoy how much you squeeze out of everything you do, your love for your family, your creativity and taking us along with you on your journey. I love the UK, our dearest friends live there and my husband and I try to get over as often as we can. Cornwall and Devon are on my bucket list so see a little of it here was wonderful. So glad you had a fabulous time down here in Cornwall 🙏🏖️. Porthleven is lovely isn't it and has everything.. as well as a great beach just around the left headland 👍. We live in mid Cornwall but always go on stay cations down near Porthleven. Glad you got to swim and had some great food by the looks of it 😋. I love anything you post.. as you are always so real and positive. Anything clothes and sewing related and general life experiences.. like showing us your holiday with your lovely family are always very welcome and entertaining👌🙏. Holidays always go too quickly don't they but I agree about the little things making you feel good 😉💖😘

Yes Porthlevd has got so much and it really felt like the coziest little place.
We walked to the beach past the church but the water had come in, so it wasn’t much of a beach left.
I can’t believe how good the weather was considering how rubbish the weather has been the past week, feeling extra blessed because of that.

@@AlexandraBurnett oh.. bless you Alexandra.. I think if I had to pick one.. it would be a little place called Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsular which is on the South Coast. It's a gorgeous small village and harbour with a lovely little beach which is very protected from the elements. If you walk just over the hill you come to a place called 'The Hidden Hut' which does gorgeous food, like Indian Dahl, sold in cardboard boxes that you can eat on the beach at Porthcurnick 😋... Ice creams too 🍦. Hope you can make it one day... It's a lovely area to visit or stay 👌🙏🥰. Oh.. and funnily enough I think we were on holiday down south at the same time as you.. We were so lucky with the weather and it went to pot when we got home 😜.. Lucky us 🍀😁😘
