I!ve been watching your video for a month now and maybe not too late to play ukulele and my daugther purchased the ukulele for me now I really want to learn how to play it. So thanks you so much for sharing your knowledge .
Brilliant. I have taken notes of this and then watched the video about the Island Strumming Pattern in your video list to practise them. These are the very chords I see in nearly every chord sheet. So my plan is to practise them, until you can wake me up out of deep sleep shout them out randomly and I can play them without thinking :-)
Kevin - I can't find the worksheet..... the link takes me to the Library Content page, but I can't find anything that has a title that would indicate it is for this video...... Help !!! Thx in advance. Great lesson !!!
Thank you very much! There is always something new to learn. I get the best ukulele tutorials here. I'm still having trouble understanding the chord progression. Most importantly, I'm not sure how to switch scales with chord changes. I'm not sure if you have a video of this...
Thank you Kevin. Somehow watching this Video seem easy to follow and understand the C chord family set. Out of the 10 I think I can play 7 chords the other 3 seem impossible as there is no place to grip the 3 strings in one fret!
You left out C7 and Fadd9. The two most basic one finger chords with which to play a song, and give a beginner some success almost immediately. But I did like the way you explained how the chords fit together in the key of C.
So I just found you today and sub'd. GREAT INSTRUCTIONS 👍❤️ For real some times I have to throw it in slomo to catch what I'm trying to learn following along perfect an only pause to take a note GREAT VIDEO AN THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I'VE WATCHED 😎👍 THANK YOU Edit: my next uke I'm getting from you bruh ❤️
Thanks for learning with me Tess! Which ukulele do you have your sights set on? If you're going through Kala, I'd check out some of their solid wood options. Very nice stuff! Come and see me again soon, k? - Kevin | allforuke.com
Hi Kevin, love your work but that is not a D7. As you show it, that's A-C-F#-A. So it's missing the root, D. The correct fingering is 3rd fret on the top string and 2nd fret on the other three. What you're showing is actually F#.
Amazing! Such a great teacher
Wow, thank you!
Thank you
Thanks for breaking down keys. The chord chart helps it all make sense!
Appreciate that..Kevin, you make it sound easy..Thanks
Thanks for the instruction, explained well.

Can you recommend the type (soprano, concert, etc) and brand of uke for a beginner over the age of 70? Thanks!
