Its my first time with a Ukulele and I am finding your tutorials very helpful indeed. I have fat fingers so stopping and stating helps me to find the best position.

Stopping and starting to find new finger positions is quite normal to start with. With practice, you will find your chord changes will start to get quicker and smoother. Enjoy the learning process!

I'm brand new at playing anything. My Baritone will arrive in two weeks. It will be tuned DGBE. I like your program but I don't want to be confused by a different tuning. Can you steer me into a First 3 Chords program for my Baritone?
Hi, I would sugggest initially learning the same three shapes i demonstrate here and you will end up with the 1, 4 and 5 chords in the key of G instead of C. So respectively you will have the chords G Major (with my C shape), a C Major (with my F shape) and D7 (with my G7 shape).
Then your next step would be to look up the Baritone chord shapes for F an G7 and put them together with the C, that you now already have, to be able to play the 1, 4 and 5 chords in the key of C.

I'm a complete beginner to ukulele and love your teaching, but have a question. Is there an order to which chords to learn and practice after these first three? I've tried sorting your videos but can't seem to figure out which to go to next. Thank you so very much for these lessons. They're the best I've found on youtube!

My channel is relatively new and I haven't yet got around to posting the videos you'd would be needing next.
I don't really post them in a particular order, as I am trying to appeal to all levels of players and have a long list of videos I want to do for all levels.
Probably the next chord that you would want to learn would be A minor. That chord with the three chords in this video will open up the possibility of hundreds more songs. Try playing this sequence: C. Am. F. G7. around in a loop. It should sound very familar as lots of well known songs from the 50s and 60's use it.
After that I would suggest learning D minor and E minor which then gives you all the useful chords in the key of C.
I will be getting around to doing more beginner level videos very soon.

I’m going to be new to ukulele I bought one 2 days ago and it should come this week do you have any recommendations on how long I should practice so I could actually be good at it?
Everyone learns at different speeds and like any musical instrument or skill, you have to practice to improve.
Generally I would say, practicing little and often is best. 5 to 10 minutes a day would better than a hour once a week.
Most importantly, enjoy the learning process!
