Enjoying watching your video. Its very helpful since I never played this uk that I recently purchased. Im a greenhorn to playing any string instrument. Getting my old fingers almost have to be a contortionist to bend tube in my fingers to the positions that are required to make the notes that you are teaching but I ain't giving up thank you for the show
This was well explained. I discovered this stuff on my own as I learned to play alternate chord positions. Yours is the first video I’ve seen that chats about it and explains it in a full featured video.

so an A major chord is an A chord because it has an A string played open in it, but hang on Kevin it also has an E string played open in it so bang goes that theory to me . Can you explain it to me please
Major chords are made up of the 1,3,5 notes, hence A,C,E. Check through the other chords and you'll see the same structure.
