Hello, I’m looking to do the same on my 2004 which I’ve had from new. Did you remove any interior trim ( carpets, seats or move wiring loom ) before welding. Thanks

Hi, no - there wasn't any need to remove any interior trim etc, the only thing we did make sure was that the battery was disconnected before welding. Cheers
