Future events.... yeah.
This was my first and lan party, first time flying across the country by myslef, the first time I've met online personalities in person, the first time I felt a part of something and now its gone but the memories remain! I honestly miss old Tek Syndicate!

I've never been to a LAN party and I live in North Carolina, but I grew up in Vancouver and have been wanting to make a trip back to the old stomping grounds. If you all do something like this in Portland I'll be there.

I really wish this was closer. An east coast one would be amazing, especially if you could do it in DC. There should be a poll for the number of people willing to go and how far they would be willing to travel for the next one so you can optimize getting the maximum number of people to attend.
Congrats hosting the LAN Syndicate and looking forward to your next epic LAN Syndicate in the near future.

Man i miss the days of Planning your vacation to go to a LAN party to see and say hello to the people that kick your tail online in video games. Back when Quake 2 and the very 1st Razer mouse was released days There use to be a LAN event over here on the east coast called Frag Stock..In VA Beach VA. Loved hanging out with people you didnt know and just talk , Play games and yell at 1 another for getting your tail kicked. Glad to see that the Smaller events are happening again. Me personally would love to hang out and just talk to Nerd, joker, The Syndicate, Paul etc etc. To me it would well be worth the time and money spent to just show up, say hello and tell them they are doing great and thanks for the talk. Maybe 1 day this old broken down FPS gamer get a chance to do that once again. Thanks for sharing the video guys. brought back a lot of memories.

The power distribution you had got my interest :) - use to help run lans many moons ago and power was always one of the issues that cropped up. The switches in the end we racked mounted them in flight cases; one for protecting and two because the lan was held at the same centre a number of times a year it meant you could just roll up and plug in (even had the network leeds all spooled up and ready to go) hmmm gaming laptop and a plane ticket for the next one....I wonder :D

how the fuck do they know when your exams are also i really dont think they give a fuck if couldn't come 200 people came and payed for they dont care who the people are as long as they are from the community.

Whole honesty.. the event looked maybe a little rough. BUT!!!!! The community is real and enthusiastic which is just rare and awesome AND everyone had a blast. I feel like teams will get involved, brands will rep hard, and you guys legitimately won't fuck it up because you care. Excited for future events and keep up the good work.

Although I don't know if there was anything similar I would recommend this. Before the event there should be a thread on the forum where people could discuss games they would play and have polls on the popularity of certain games so people could save money to buy the games before the event. And towards the beginning of the event you should project a code on the wall that would verify the attendees and they could join a LAN syndicate only chat room and for example if there was a person wanting to play rocket league, but no one around him wanted to play he could type in the chat board, his seat and table number to be found easier and what game he wants to play.
Lan Sydicate looked very awesome way to put on a great community event, I hope next year I can be there!

this is really amazing, tek syndicate is really something special, I've been watching your vids since i was a freshman in high school this youtube channel has changed my life
i would really like it if the next lan party could be in Atlanta GA, i go to school at Morehouse, there's a lot of people at tech, Emorey and even spelman that would love to come to an event like that, also for next time maybe there could be a ted talk from a famous app developer or hardware engineer from ninvida or AMD (especially AMD)
or possibly a musical proformace
If I lived on west coast, I would have been there. Without a doubt in my mind, I would have been ecstatic. However, Midwest living is like a constant battle of living outside the loop.
This video brought back some memories, I hope I can make it to the next!

Going to and setting up, arranging LANs, it's all amazing, and I miss it. I was attending an IT school in Tromsø, Norway in 2001-2003, so one of the teachers that was one year oldler than me, a student and me got together to set up a LAN at the school, so it was split up in classrooms, very intimate. To be allowed by the school we had to run a new network throughout the school first, cause the network there was horrible. g-LAN turned out great. Quake 3, StarCraft and CS was the main tournaments, people had a great time. The last LAN I attended was The Gathering in 2006. I miss it, and might go to The Gathering next year. Would love to come to LAN Syndicate the next time :)
