You guys do great work, just wondering what kind of glue you're using? The only glue I have ever seen in the years I worked with wood was a white carpenters glue, which we had to butter booth sides of the wood to join them
I can not stand to see a person scrape with a skew. Also to rough it in I would of used a huge bowl gouge. But if you learn use that skew to shear and cut the stock away instead of scraping you can do curves and complex shapes that are near perfect and need zero to very little sanding. Carbide it Okay in wood working but when it comes to the lathe HSS is king. Learning to sharpen is just as important. I have not finished the video yet but I am a liking it so far. I have done some smaller pieces like this.
now that's perfect. Parallel rings all around. Simply masterful
Thanks
Super Job to woodworking
Very nice, although I'm not convinced about using Dijon mustard as an adhesive

Great idea, nice work. I'm a newbie so I wonder why not cut the corners off on a table saw to reduce chopping?

This time I think the baby 💩 glue gave a nice bordering effect between the two woods.

Me neither, I like to use one of those chisel thingies!
Nice piece and good choice of woods... Selling himself short with his turning skills tho.. anyone can spray 5mm of lacquer to hide their work.
Good job but it's mouth and bottom, top and bottom didn't care about it 😂😅
Thanks Very Much
