⁴ᴷ MTA NYCT Brooklyn Buses: Ulmer Park 2022 XD40 Action - On Board 2022 XD40 7987 on the B74

Ulmer Park, which was the final depot out of the 2022 XD40 order to receive said units, received the smallest sum of the bunch, due to the lesser valuable reason of their deliveries, yet still being a priority that needed to be addressed. While Ulmer Park has no fleet that quite need replacing, these 2022 units act more so as filler fleet, and replacements for the empty placements that some 2015's have left, due to them being transferred to other depots with fleet that needs urgent replacement. With the addition of this fleet into Ulmer Park, comes with the modernization of their fleet once again with new technology like rear plug doors, and a camera present on the rear of the bus, as well as the current seating arrangements and seats themselves. This fleet also is now the 4th fleet of New Flyer XD40's in a row that Ulmer Park has received new, giving their line-up a clear pattern of what kind of fleet that NYCT prefers the depot to maintain, as they are an all-diesel bus depot regardless, until the next fleet of buses is delivered which will presumably introduce battery-electric technologies.
Shown is a unit on the B74 which runs a loop from Stillwell Avenue, down to Seagate, comes back around and runs back up to Stillwell Avenue to terminate, and eventually make the same loop. Another unit is also present being dispatched on the same route sometime later in the ride. #mtabus
