I am watching this for probably the tenth time. You are so easy to understand AND hilarious! Thank you for making these wonderful, helpful teaching videos!
I've only had my Ruffler #86 for a lil over a year! I'm so very happy that I watched this video bc now I learned how to use this ruffler. Now, I crown myself the Queen of Procrastination & 1st place award recepient of Pleats & Ruffles Galore!
Great tutorial! I purchased my #86 Ruffler about a week ago. Now that I have watched your instructions I plan to play as much as possible. Who knows what I will end up creating! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video. I bought the ruffler foot as I am making multiple linen valances and wanted to simplify the process. The foot cost me $195.00NZD so I didn't want to damage it or my new 570B QE machine as you can imagine. What a time saver! The linen is a heavy fabric and I found that using the settings - 1 fold at 4.75mm was approximately just over half the length when gathered i.e. 10" became about 4.". I hope that is helpful for someone else.
I sew a lot of dresses for my young granddaughters and the ruffler attachment is a must! It gathers the skirt and it makes nice ruffles for the hem. So pretty! I highly recommend it!
OMG! I sure could have used this when my daughter was young. Now I just need someone in the family to have a girl. I sewed formals for my daughter also, until she was almost 20. Gad, that was a lot of hand gathering in my lifetime.
I’ve been wanting this foot for my Bernette b77, but I was told they don’t make it for this machine. I used to use it with another machine I had. It’s great for making ruffles.
@Tatyana Surenyan-Krech the singer one May fit the b77. The b77 is a low shank but some generic feet do not fit because of the dual feed mechanism in the back. So be very careful if you put this foot on.
@@BERNINAofNaperville last year I had tried to put it on the b38 and it didn’t work. I didn’t think of putting it in the b77. I’ll try it, but if you have one that you know will work, let me know.

A generic ruffler should work on your b77. I will test when the store reopens tomorrow. WE are closed on Mondays.
