Quick little correction so people don't get confused: those tie into the coolant outlet. The thermostat housing is on the front of the engine.

Should make a video of taking out the hoses or how you removed them and inserted them

I saw another video were the tech replaced the o-ring in the hose that connects to the heater core to stop the leak. Will I lose a-lot of coolant if I don't drain the system when disconnecting the hose at the heater core if engine is cold? I try & fix myself to save a-little money. Thanks for sharing.

if you have the exact o-rings replacement, then for sure go ahead. You will lose a good amount of coolant if you disconnect the hose but not as much.

Or just simply replace 1 hose at a time

If I just needed to replace the hose section, would I still need to remove the plastic piece? Or can I just slide the hose off the plastic piece?

I took my isuzu ascender. To get one of the heater hose adjusted because i had coolant leaking. But notist one tube next to it dosent have a hose in it and when i turn on my isuzu and reaches its tempeture starts to leak antifreeze from underneath the reservior container.

Hi I have water slosh in my dash and I discovered I have a leak in my heater hose under my feet could this sound go away after fixing ? Or it's not related

the heater core is most likely leaking but I would also replace the hoses because the o-rings will be worn if you put back the old one.

I am having this issue right now and pulled your video up, But one of my issue's is that the coolant is leaking on the driver side floorboard. Is that common for a leak?

@Ibubblemurk Not common but its very expensive to fix. I believe your heater core is leaking and that's located inside the dashboard
