Thank thank you for the video it help me a whole bunch I'm not used to working on Fords greatly appreciated
What a helpful video man , thank you so much . Seriously!
What do you do about brake fluid pressure when you are pressing the piston back in? Or is there any? First time doing brakes on my cruze coming up
The crankshaft sprocket at the bottom won’t turn all the way on my sonic. Any suggestions?
Thank you.
This was a big help. We just did the front and rear and the toughest part was removing the bracket bolts. The GM service folks thought that if tight is good then tighter is better.
Thank you
What is the filter called
Great video
THE WHOLE CLUSTERS TURNS OFF AND ON, I THOUGHT THE TURNS SIGNAL WOULD FIX IT BECAUSE THE SIGNAL WEREN'T WORKING EITHER, DO I NEED A NEW CLUSTER?
Good tutorial, thanks. If you are reusing the timing belt tensioner (like I did) do yourself a BIG favor and make use of the retainer pin that comes with the cam lock kit- it will make belt installation MUCH easier! Same goes for the serpentine belt. Also, a 3/4" 12 point socket fits perfectly on the serpentine belt tensioner.
The only thing I suggest would be to spray the rotor with brake clean first before installing. (Oh and torque specs as well)
Excellent & explicit explanation without jargon.Even a novice without mechanical knowledge can perform such operation Thank U Sir.
Is it the Same for the 1.7l 110hp?
Thanks genius
What is the torque spec on oil pan screws?
My son pulled the grenade pin out of the spring loaded tensioner and I can’t get it back in, do I need to get a new one?
This is the best video I have seen yet on the rear brake replacement for a Cruze. Mine need replacing badly (this week job) and for what they charge for all 4 wheels brake job (around $1000 in Canada) I am looking at $240 for parts which is a bargain.
Awsome Video keep on going
You might want to edit the ‘uh’s out of your subtitles lol, makes it harder to read/parse
I use a 5in1 to push the calipers back
I’m no mechanic but I think that’s an alternator
Way to build suspense... Without looking, how many stars are there in this "Hunda" car logo?
i have nissan sentra 1.6 can i use spark plug for 1.8 ?

Thank you! Keep the videos up❤
The springs that come with the expensive pads, do you normally use them on the front breaks as well as the rear? Or do you use them at all?
@Rodogg7787 depends on how they fit but most of time i don't use them at all because the fitment is terrible.
We need @Venjent on that engine start remix! 🔥 😂
I have a 2017 Kia forte lx. The right tire doesn’t spin at all in the air. I am also getting a high pitched noise when turning right or breaking
Ive had new rear break pads fitted and they squeak when I’m driving when i break it stops, any ideas pls
Thank you
Kia filter on a Nissan. First time i've seen that. Pretty sure they cross reference.
A well explained video.
My timing belt stripped teeth off, how bad gonna be for me? Are the valves screwed?
These 1.8 GMs timming belt jobs are actually not to bad to do. That's the good news. Buying the high quality Cleves kit is MANDITORY. I did and still have timming belt slap. She fires right up and drives well, but its like I never pulled the pin out of the tensioner... NOT my first timming belt job. The Cruze automatically tells you to change timming belt at 100k. I think the manual says 75-80k is max life for belts. Way too soon.
Great job & tips!!
Nicely done! That was very helpful to me. Thank you.
You can definitely tell it's a European design... Lol
It's Korean. I saw some Daewoo stamps when I did mine.
Brilliant simply brilliant - fantastic 🧰😀. G. Chartered Engineer near London UK.
What’s a good 12 point socket set?
What if you don't hve a heat source. Let's be realistic here you got your click for a view next😢
This is what I'm trying to figure out as well. It's very evident the prev owner of my car didn't take care of it well and ended up ruining the bolts to the caliper brackets.
Thanks for the awesome video. I do have question regarding tightening the water pump pulley bolts to 15ft-lb torque as per specification. I couldn't hold it in any way to tighten properly. Any ideas. My cruze is 1.6L with same water pump
or just put the car in the air and use a stethoscope with it in gear
A thicker oil could cause the engine to fail the oiling parts and the motor are designed for a specific weight of engine oil and if you put too thick of an oil in it, it’s not gonna travel in the port as fast and it could ruin your engine
wish I would have read the comments first I just snapped the bolts for the idler pulley and he doesn't give the part number for the bolts like he said.
Always use the viscosity recommended. DO NOT take advice from this video.

Carbon in the ring lands could allow excess oil past the rings.
