Oh my, thanks for your video. I watched some more numbers oriented ones by the big channels before and the difference did not look that impressive on paper, but seeing it played: That actually is huge. Currently running a 6800 XT. Maybe I'll have to upgrade afterall... some good new titles coming up next year. ps. In your CoD benchmark the numbers overlay on the 7900xtx was missing.
Maybe a 6800xt comparison video should come out next, seems quite a few people are using it currently and looking to upgrade. Thanks for the kind words! And I know im sorry :( I noticed it after I did all of the recording, I figured you can at least still see the fps from the benchmark but it was a rough blunder by me.
@@LegitCamelRetro big oof I pulled the trigger today ordering my 7900 XTX but a partner card design without the liquid issues. Went for a Sapphire Nitro+ VaporX and I hope it will fulfill my every gaming desire, lol! I mean it better does for 1500 bucks (European pricing). It should since it got really good clock speeds and I don't care about ray tracing at all. And the size of the card is good too, some partners went a tad too large for my computer actually, lol.
@@nervsouly I was literally rendering the 6800xt comparison video as I type this haha, but honestly I think you will be happy with the card, not sure if you saw my most recent video but I have personally been having a great time with it so far even though its the reference model.
COD games LOVE AMD cards. I only really play MW2 and WZ2 so just switched from a 3090 to 6900XT. Saves me about 60 - 70W and get higher fps. Impressive. Cyberpunk is irrelevant because it's a POS even on a 4090.
@@DC3Refom I agree and disagree, then agree again, haha. The 7900xtx is cheaper than the 4080 and out performs it in many different titles. Dollar for dollar, right now the 7900xtx is a better deal. However, I think the 4080 has longer use ahead of it. With that said, I'm not for sure if the 7900xtx will age well.
6800xt when you can find it on sale is by far the best deal out there right now, honestly Nvidia is still acting like miners are out there to buy their cards, AMD just seems complacent following in there foot steps as they usually do instead of making a more aggressive move. Thought the GPU market would be in a less sad state right now, and although its not as bad its not good either.
an overclocked 6900xt to say 2650 core, you can push another 8-10fps out of it... so no it isnt worth it, unless you can get 600$ for the 6900xt and just spend another 400$,,, but is that 400$ really worth it ? not really
I'm sure the AMD cards are ok, maybe some driver/firmware updates? I am a Nvidia fan boy so I found it interesting after all the hype for AMD GPUs to challenge and maybe overtake Nvidia's rule... AMD turned out a dud😒
been using the 7900xtx for a while and havent really had issues, i think some people like to watch the world burn, they did the same thing with the "fire hazard" new plugs on nvidia cards which turned out to be overblown, kind of like the overheating issues with this card are being overblown, you get what you pay for with the $1000 product from AMD, I just wish they would have come in cheaper to actually challenge.

@@LegitCamelRetro oh I shall subscribe to not miss that 6800 video!
Thanks! I will try to get it out as soon as possible! haha

Yeah cyberpunk is fun to punish your card with but it doesnt really mean anything more to me lol
Very nice video bud! I like the performance per dollar of the 7900xtx.
It's not good value compared the 4080 yes but it's quit bit more expensive than 6800xt

RX 7900 XTX = total disaster. RIP AMD🎉
