- today we will test both this cpu and see if theres a difference in games
Games tested, god of war, resident evil 4 remake, horizon zero dawn, horizon forbiden west, forza horizon 5, red dead redemption 2, shadow of tomb raider, dead island 2
In your opinion is it worth the upgrade?
im really glad i found your comparison as I was looking at upgrading. You have just saved me from wasting my money. Thanks mate.
You're welcome, this video is exactly that, to help people see if it's worth the upgrade or not to them.
Thanks for your reply
Well, this video doesn't show 1% lows in fps which is where most of the difference is, 5700x3d will have no stutter compared to 5600x but the average fps will have maybe a 10- 20% difference only. So if you only look at that average fps it seems to be not worth it, but when you see stutter is gone, you think again.
@@VIKclips yes you are right, the 1% lows are better in 5700x3d, but not by a huge amount
this is good not very much youtubers benchmark this combo "Ryzen 7 5700X3D+ RX 6800 XT"
ty 🙂
Here the one that is creating a bottleneck is the 6800xt... I just went from a 5600x to a 5700x3d and of course the fps are exactly the same, I had to sell the 6800xt and I put a 7900xt on it and the change is very noticeable, the 5700x3d it takes the 5600x at more than 15 fps in some games in others up to 40 fps
Thanks for making this video!
@@Sheisty you're welcome 😊
Thanks for making this video
@@rayunta1497 thank you for the opinion 😊
960mv!!!!!!! i got mine at 1050 and tought that was low bro same xfx merc, you´re crazy bro might want to give it a bit more juice for comparing cpus great video tho
It could be stable at 960 mv, but it won't reach it's maximum core frequency too. Same XFX Merc 319 (core edition) here with 1010mv.
@@ElsK81 it's stable at 950 also, I keep it this way because it keeps the temps even lower then with the default settings
Nicely done! Thank you!
I also got a 5700x3d from Ali but for 176€...still much better prices than in Europe...hence the purchase and I've also got a 6800xt. I have a question however...I think the 6800xt is bottlenecking the 5700x3d. That CPU is just slightly slower than the 5800x3d. From what I've gathered the 5600x (or non x) is good up until the 6800xt/7800xt/4070 level of performance, faster cards will get hamstrung. What do you think?
You'd get much better frames from the x3d and something like the 7900 GRE at least or better. However we're talking high end expensive cards and then the new Radeon generation is just around the corner. So fingers crossed for RDNA 4!
P.S. I don't regret the purchase, the 5700x3d is the next budget king for gaming and is better for productivity also, especially at Ali's prices.
here in the u.s on Amazon is for that close price $200 for the 5700x3d
@@iamjustme4542 I regret not buying the 5600x3d but I couldn't reach Microcenter ☹
I agree with you, a better gpu would push more of the 5700x3d, but unfortunately it's the best gpu I have.
Im very pleased with the performance of the 5700x3d, it will be the next budget king for sure
@@Sintech333 of course that amazing if I rather get the 5800x3d over the 5700x3d May as well just move to a am5 and buy the 7800x3d lol
@@iamjustme4542 the difference in price in my country between 5800x3d and 7800x3d is only 40€
thanks for the video, its just what i was looking for. i have a ryzen 5 3600 and i want to change it and i am between the r5 5600x or the r7 5700x3d.
@@YoungNikitothank you, the 5700x3d is a great price to performance ratio if you can get it cheap
I'm just missing this cpu in my build I pretty much maxed out everything for now the RX 6800 XT 16GB is plenty plus have 64GB DDR4 3600mhz is more than enough I just need to swap this r5 5600x with this kind of X3D cpu on to my X570 at this point i dont know if they'll ever release the Ryzen 9 5900X3D and the Ryzen 9 5900 XT or just the Regular Ryzen 9 5900X isn't that much of a upgrade to me, I really need this Ryzen 7 5700X3D or Ryzen 7 5800X3D. but I might go for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D due to being more cheaper and 10% performance difference from the 5800X3D
in my opinion the ryzen 5700x3d is the best value for money right now, and sometimes costs 100€ less then the 5800x3d
Can you do 1440p
There's 1440p data on all games just like in here 4:54 6:54 and more
Ahahaha, cpu test on 4k....
why not? its the reslution i play, and theres difference in the results
@@Sintech333 But if you do a comparison between CPU's, it's more wise to test them at 1080p, because that's where the actual difference will be. At 4K you are wayyyy more GPU bound, so there is practically no difference in a lot of cases.
@@X_irtz your right, but there's 1080p data in the video as well, 1080p, 1440p and 4k
Like here 5:05
@@Sintech333 Sure, but as i said, the 4K tests are still kinda pointless for a CPU test anyways.
