As a Bills fan, I don’t want to gloat. When I saw Tua go down and his hands curl up, I felt sick. Someone in his family needs to tell him it’s over. He has enough money to live a great life and support his wife and kids. I’d hate to see him in a wheelchair being spoon fed by a nurse. And I’m not being funny. I feel for him.

There needs to be serious talks about Tua walking away from football. It just isn’t worth your long term health. At the very least he needs a guardian cap

Exactly. Andrew Luck had the foresight to retire when his health was in trouble and he wasn't getting much help, so he made the right decision in stepping away.
I mean, 4 concussions in 3 years, with 3 being in the same year, I think he should hang it up, for his health.

As someone who suffered several concussions while playing football back in school (defensive line), I never got an injury or even “saw stars” from hits to the head that I was prepared for (like when my helmet hit the OL’s when the ball snapped), they always happen when you don’t see it coming, like blind side blocks. Tua’s concussion came from him expecting to hit the ground hard rather than getting hit by Hamlin’s knee to the head, which he didn’t seem to expect

Tuas' concussion was caused by the back of his head bouncing hard off the turf when he went down not by the neck twist hit.

I will always feel bad for an injury, but Tua needs to learn how to run if he's gonna run the ball. He was leading with his head, like, that was the worst way he could have ran into that Hamlin...Equivalent of running into a brick wall head first, and then he slammed his head on the ground..honestly he should probably retire but I know he probably won't. I just don't wanna see someone end up goign out in an ambulance, I'm a Bengals fan so unfortunately I remember very well how much that sucks no matter which side the injury is on...

You know a situation is bad when social media seems to be nigh-unanimous on a subject; there's an overwhelming number of people (Dolphins fans or otherwise) begging him to retire before it's too late.
At this point, letting him risk getting even more concussions should be considered criminal negligence. There's a real chance that he might not get up the next time.
@@BAMFshee i legitimately thought he was gonna be permanently fucked for a second. the way he was doing the fencing position like he did vs cincinnati, i thought he was gonna be stretchered off (at the minimum).
i might be wrong, but doing the fencing position is a sign of a traumatic brain injury. possibly potential neurological damage. that’s not something should be played with. if he doesn’t already have cte, he’s going to get it if he takes one more hit to the head.

There should be a touchback counter in every game this season just to send a message to the NFL... also I feel Tua may have to retire earlier after his second big concussion in the nearly less than a year. I do hope he is ok but he should really not be a runner as he keeps getting popped, or at the very least stop lowering his head like he did.
As for Tua, I've seen middle of the road UFC fighters get knocked out less than him. After his last TBI, i suggested a year away from football to give his brain a chance to fully recover.
The Bills and Bengals games in years past where he recieved 2 in back to back games, i knew he would probably feel a little different, permanently.
Lord knows how he's going to respond to this one. Concussions aren't free. Everytime the bell is rung there are lacerations, tears, and inflammation occuring. Seems like its going to get worse before it gets better. The only way to stop this from occuring again is taking a step away from football until his brain is entirely healed and he's 100% ready to make a return.
Man. Tua’s luck with getting his head hit in just the wrong way this many times is wild. Its just sad to watch. I feel for the dolphins fans as a colts fan. He really needs to just retire for his own sake🫠
