Coolest dually I’ve seen so far. It’s not ghetto, not too high, and looks good with black 37 x 20s. Incredible how you guys can get these stiff trucks to ride more car-like. I’ve driven one and they ride hard empty, bounce all over, tough daily driver.
@@CJCOffRoad Me too, i see a lot of none functional monstrosities that are real big and real sketchy and not very practical. I love seeing these be actually usable trucks when done right.Keep up the good job guys!!
That truck is straight up sexy and gorgeous I love the factory box but I might switch it out for a black flatbed a 19 or 20 body and a Laramie with the big 20 inch screen
This is the best looking dually I have ever seen. Classy and functional but aggressive. I want to do a similar setup with a 2013-2018 with MB G56. Unless the MY2022 gets the new Allison 9 speed auto. Fuel 20" forged and 37x12.5" A/T plus full Carli (leveling or slight all around lift?). Don't you need to order the 3.5" spaced versions for Fuel dual? Also, how did he get the non-chrome bumpers and grill. Love your channel. Greetings from Seattle, WA.
Thank you for the words. I would definitely recommend doing the full Carli suspension set up for a matched ride and handling capabilities. The rear leaf packs do compliment the ride. CJC did a great job specing out the wheels without the use of no spacers. The original bumpers and grill were painted to color match by Autobahn Collision in Torrance, California.
yeah they are pretty exaggerated for sure. If some states officers will ticket you if your tires stick out X amount of inches past the fenders. I think the exact amount varies from state to state, but here in PA they enforce it pretty harshly, especially if you drive your big dually truck down the main street of a town or city and a cop spots you.
I'm on your site looking for wheels. Can you please tell me what the rear offsets are so I don't have to use spacers? Awesome looking truck! I'm working to make mine look like this.
They’re actually very different systems with different goals. Kelderman builds their systems around the use of bags and the novelty of height adjustment. Carli designs their systems around ride quality and capability off road. It’s like comparing rally car suspension with the stance world if that makes sense? Both systems have very different end uses and purposes. Airbags make sense for on road use and carrying varied loads, but they will never offer the ride quality, travel, or off road capability of a true spring.
Definitely a Great looking truck. Know this is off topic . I have a ram 2500 with dual front stabilizers BDS . Truck pulls to the right of course . Fox shocks . What should I be running to eliminate this problem?
What tires are you running on the truck? We typically recommend a Carli high mount to fight Toyo Mts, and a Carli low mount for everything else! Check this video out: ruclips.net/video/7-iuLGg0zPg/видео.html
NIce! I have a Chevy 2016 Dually. What system, tires included, would you recommend for an improved ride quality with minimal lift and overall width changes? Thanks.
What lift is needed to fit 35’s? My truck rides so damn rough, will the shocks alone smooth out the rough ride from the stiff springs? I have the same truck, I’ve been contemplating selling it because I’m not towing as much but with the price of new trucks I’d rather keep it but I really need it to ride better.
Sadly shocks alone won’t do much since it’s the springs that really cause the issue. You can easily fit 35s on these trucks though with a basic level or even stock.
For Dodge and Ford Class 2 and Class 3 trucks...only a level suspension.....taller springs and longer shocks are needed on the front to fit 35 inch tires. Probably a good idea to put the same type of shocks on the rear. If you are not towing frequently and or very heavy loads...why have a DRW.....Dual Rear Wheel...(aka, dually) truck? In the same light...why even have a truck with a diesel engine? I tow heavy loads and have always been pleased with Class 3 SRW...Single Rear Wheel...trucks......with air bags in the rear. The SRW truck equipped with 5000 pound air bags can tow and haul just about as much as a DRW truck...AND offers a better ride; easier to maneuver, turn, and park; lower expense for tires, etc. I don't necessarily dislike DRW trucks.....have their place...several people need 'em. If I was towing very heavy loads...and fairly frequently...I would need...and want a DRW truck. For towing heavy loads with low to moderate frequency a SRW truck is a better choice.
@@15Jeep I was traveling quite a bit with my RV for work when I bought it. It’s a 42 foot toy hauler so I needed the dually. I’ve been looking at gas trucks but the prices are ridiculous. I prefer the diesels over gas for the power and they’re fun to drive.
@@SLICKW1993 Yes....you definitely needed a DRW truck. I agree, the diesel trucks are fun to drive with all of the available power. I currently have a diesel...but selling it and buying a gas truck. The Ford 7.3L gas engine has quite a bit of power.....not as much as the diesel engines. However, tow all moderate to heavy loads. The big and most noticeable difference.....diesel is awesome at launch...moving the load from a stop...and a little better for passing at speed on the highway. Other than that...the 7.3L will handle the needs for many Class 2 and Class 3 truck owners...for less money and lower maintenance and operating costs.
@@15Jeep I wanted to look at that engine as well, I really like the Tremor package. I’ll probably go look this weekend to see what I like. The diesel maintenance gets expensive doesn’t it?
The Carly B of the truck world. Only missing the scissor lift. Seriously, what about lowering one, without sacrificing towing ability? Those trucks are all so tall. dropping one would really stand out, and allow for easier ingress and egress.
Great truck. Shitbox of a transmission both the aisin and 68rfe. Just sold my 2018 Ram 3500 H.O absolutely couldn’t deal with the transmission behavior after I deleted my emissions. In a 2021 3500 Chevy High Country and its on another level.
awesome! I just wish they would make a 1in or 1.5in kit. 3.25 in with 37s will KILL mpg. no way that owner is towing heavy and trying to make a living with that setup. unless they love to piss money down the drain. you say carli set this kit up for on road towing but then it has 3.25in lift and kings... why not 1in and fox commuter, etc?
This owner actually uses their truck off road quite a bit so dirt performance is important to them. If this was an on road warrior you could absolute do without the 37s. The King shocks however are actually a big part of why this truck tows nice. While the Fox Commuter shocks ride nice, they don’t offer the damping necessary for towing heavy.
