Make sure to cool the ganache enough, otherwise it will just run down the side of the pan and not cover the custard. I made the ganache using chocolate, milk and butter because I didn’t have cream.
So far I've only made the chiffon cake part. I cut off the top top even up the cake and ate the excess. This is the best cake I've ever made! I haven't even made it into a Boston cream cake yet! I'd be happy with just the cake part honestly. It's so good. Thank you for the recipe.
