How to Visit UTAH's Bonneville Salt Flats

- We visited Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats and drove our Ford F150 out onto the flats. We explored the salt flats and looked for the turquoise aqueduct canals. The sunrise at these salt flats in Utah was stunning beyond words.
We share what the dreamy experience looks like as well as what our experience was like driving down the flats. It was so much fun flying down the flats with nothing but a salt desert in sight with mountains off in the distance. It was truly a freeing and beautiful experience.
When we visited the salt flats they were dried up and there was only a very small section of water. These conditions made it ideal for driving on them, but we did dig up some ground in one area which we share in this video

That sunrise! Wow. We are going to be in Salt Lake for a day in June and are thinking of doing the Salt Flats. Would you drive a rental car there? Or is there just too much salt? Your car looked very salty! Also, how much time did you spend there? Thanks for the great video.

Hello, thank you! I believe it must have been somewhere between 7-8am we got out there early before the sunrise and stayed for a few hours afterwards.

Oh my goodness, I would totally wash my truck like 5 times to make sure I got all the salt from the undercarriage! This place is BEYOND stunning.
We did with a pressure washer 3 times! lol
Finally my home state!!! Now go take that truck in for a bath!
Beautiful state! We pressure washed the bottom for 25 minutes ourselves, hand scrapped another pound of salt with a chisel in Idaho, made it all the way back to Florida and pressure washed it again and still had chunks of salt coming off the bottom. CRAZY, Wayne is very thorough with everything he does and even he was surprised at how much clung on. Our camper had a large chunk of salt also on the axel and we never even took it near there :0
