Wetlands and Meadows Painting Adventures - Art Residency in Ridgefield, Washington

In late May 2024 I spent two weeks painting in Southwest Washington while the Artist in Residence with the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge and Plas Newydd Farm. Each day, I headed outside (no matter the weather!) to sketch and explore with watercolor. This short video shares some of my favorite places, paintings, and moments from the trip.

0:05 I genuinely thought your palette was a painting of rocks in the foreground, a very shallow waterfall and greenery in the background. It was only when the purple paint started to bead that I realised that the painting is on the right.
