  • In this Video we have discussed the mechanism of Vesicle Docking and Fusion.
    Vesicle fusion is the merging of a vesicle with other vesicles or a part of a cell membrane. In the latter case, it is the end stage of secretion from secretory vesicles, where their contents are expelled from the cell through exocytosis. Vesicles can also fuse with other target cell compartments, such as a lysosome.

    Can u tell what causes receiving of golgi vesicle at wrong destination when it doen not bind to r8 one??

    • @hussainbiology
      @hussainbiology  3 года назад

      The Golgin protein acts as a tether protein along side the Snares.
      The loss in function of Golgin results error in cargo transportation ( wrong destinations )

    • @hussainbiology
      @hussainbiology  3 года назад

      Loss of the Golgin (GMAP-210) ortholog in Caenorhabditis elegans, called SQL-1, does not affect health or viability, but there is mild disruption of Golgi organization, and defective IFT transport, most likely as a consequence of reduced delivery of components required for IFT transport from the Golgi to the cilium

      In the ARFI mediated initiation of vesicle formation initial signaling cascade was working fine for receptor docking but still the system fails to start a clathrin coat assembly. What do you think which part of the machinery can be defective? And what impact it is causing.
