I’ve been skating on these for almost 3 years & they are still going strong! Thank you for watching! Are there more things you want me to review on the Moxi RUclips Channel?
my lining came off when the strap ripped but i just sewed it back together, i recommend doing it asap so that the stitching dosent unravel more while you skate
Remember y'all! You can make ur skate look fresh with a good cleaning and new paint cover to custom it! So long as you take care of them, they'll las you a good long while.
Yes! My loop broke too but I used to bike 5 miles everyday to work/skatepark with my skates on my handle bars hah. I left it for a while cuz it didn’t bother me broken but I eventually sewed it back on. Super easy🤍
Super easy!! Whenever I get the chance I am going to take them to a shoe repair shop to see if they can sew them tougher than I can. But super easy to do yourself as well! Luckily it's nice that skate leashes exist anyways :p
@@riverf012 I got them in April of 2020. So one full year and they are still incredibly bright. I sprayed them once. Lots of outside skating, dusty indoor ramps, skating inside at rinks... the color is still brilliant.
Please make a video about the Pro Reactor Plate. How to adjust it in general and how to adjust the adjustable trucks, how take care of it, etc. Thank you!
Great honest vid! Why do you prefer the neo trucks over the pro adjustable trucks? And also, how much longer do you plan on keeping this setup before retiring the boot? What is a good way tk know when the life of your skate is coming to a close?
I prefer the neo trucks over the adjustable because I don’t like have an extra thing I have to check in on. 😂 I’ll skate in these boots until they are un skate able. I don’t normally go in another boot unless there’s something that is crucially needed to skate. So if the toe pops up or the boot rips from the heel (which I never had that issue) but those would be reasons why!
Also varies per person! I don’t NEED much ankle support so if you feel the boot starts to be less stiff then you may like that would be another reason. But you could also wear an ankle brace 🤔 so it depends.
My wife and I having been skating on the black and jade jacks for nearly 4 years now. They still look brand new , but my wife cleans them after every skate. She also scotch guarded them - totally worth it - she spilled coffee on them and it rolled right off
Have you skated on lollies? How do they compare. Just hotbsome but wanted jacks... but finding jacks are nearly impossible. I have found a pair but they are charing 350 plus shipping. Thinking about selling my lollies. Plus the toe bed is a bit narrow for me on my lollies.
Moxi's owned and made by Riedell. If you want flat heeled skates in fun colors, you can do the Riedell ColorLab to get custom colors on a bunch of different boots (including their flat boots)
I'd love a video talking about the different kinds of plates that moxi handles! I'm saving up for a custom jackboot order and when I saw the different plates I was a bit lost but definitely eager to learn. I'd love to hear from people's actual experience skating with them
Aw I love my wooden slide blocks! At the time this was filmed they were getting fixed up so I got some slides to wear until they came back to me but Because I haven’t skated in them except for a few months I wanted to have this review be what I have skated on the most. Which is a CIB slide block :o)
Im wearing 10.5 and i cant find the right size on moxiskates.com yall, i just bought a rookie artistic roller skate and its very similar looking to moxis...hope you can make size 10.5 in the future... :(((
I wear a 10.5 or 11 in womens. I followed the advise on the moxi site and I found some additional info on another site that sold Reidell skates. I ended up measuring my foot carefully and settling on a Lolly size 10. The fit is perfect for me. I am so glad I didn't size down further!
Thanks for your feedback! Although these were developed for a more advanced style of skating, they are also great for any type of skating if comfort, support and durability are important to you! :)
@@Kianayouwanna maybe you only got on the "Team" (which many say doesn't even exist anymore) two years ago, then? No matter, 2019 to 2021 is two years 😂.
@@35nee I meant to say they are almost 3 years old. :o) I count by the year so I am going on to my 3rd year of skating on them. There was an official team at one point and i got on it in 2018 but there's no longer a team. I am now staffed at Moxi now which is rad! Also things get product tested well before they are on the market... So yes these are older than they may seem to the general public.
If you're going to stick to that story, you'll have to delete your Insta post from April '19 saying that you haven't skated them yet, and probably the video of your previous skates on your own channel here - where you say something about getting new set ups soon 😉.
IG is not real life. When I mention I haven't skated in them I meant more the skate park. I had been in that boot, cruised and skated in my house to break them in and test them out before anything was ever posted and to collected the accessories I wanted. I can mention to people I get something soon and that could have been when I had FILMED the video rather than when it was posted. There's always a delay I am NOt a timely person at all.

I'm working extra hours to have my jacks once available, can't wait to use them in Mexico City skateparks :)

Did you consider spraying your skates with scotch guard? I did that to my Lolly’s and the color has stayed brilliantly.
How long have u had them? I never thought about using scotch guard on anything but carpet!

do you think it would be worth it to spray black suede skates with scotch guard (given they’re black)?
Good idea gotta save the suade

For my opinion, the colour from the old is much more beautiful than the new ones

Do the Jack 2.0s have an ETA yet?
Last I heard, Estro's waiting to get caught up on all the orders to drop them
Jacks 2.0? Where can I find out about these boots?
I got my jacks today! I can’t wait to break them in!
Goshhhh so not possible to order timely in Europe.. so many plp wish for Jacks 😍 love all you do guys!

Oh this is a great question. Same question here!
Will Moxi ever make flat heel skates? If so I’m willing to wait 😅 but if not that’s okay too. Just want clarification 😭🤙🏾✨💕🦋
Hmmm maybe? I believe they make customs soo does that technically count as moxi skates or just customs?
@@margotstern2645 wow! I did not know this information 😅 thank you ☺️

I use some insoles that I got at walgreens which are specifically designed for folks with high arches. They fit it my lolly's easily.

They're two years old, not three. Three years ago the loop at the back was still made of leather and part of the backstay.
