    Thanks for the info. Im still figuring out how to bid jobs. Im in central Maryland so not sure how that plays a part. Did job the other day that was similar to that and charged 125. I kinda go by the hour and it works but I wanna make sure I'm not losing or robbing. Anyway, seen a video with a dude that used a gear tie to hold the surface cleaner trigger. I did it and it was a big difference on the arms and hands.
    Thanks for the content and knowledge bro greatly appreciated!

      You have the right formula. On a job like this it's best to charge a flat hourly rate. My base hourly rate is $150 but since this customer was about 40 mins out with traffic I charged $175. And got a 5 star review and a tip! The zip tie works, some guys use a tennis ball also.

      Hey brother. Yes I have. Sh and light surfactant and a soft brush will get those cleaned. A 3-5% mix does the trick for Me

    I know you lowered your pressure for the newer surface, about what psi would you recommend running for a newer surface like that?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  3 года назад +1

      Depends in what injector you have. There's the General Pump injectors which pulls 1-2% and super suds sucker injectors that pulls up to 3%

    Roughly what psi you want to use on new concrete? (2years old). You think around 1500 psi is ok? Or 1k instead?

  • @ayedubbjr
    @ayedubbjr 3 года назад +1

    Not sure if you simply don't record it, but I don't think I've seen you hit the curbs when washing. Is that intentional? Is that a different type of task or something?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  3 года назад +1

      I just don't record that part it sucks cause usually splashes all over my legs lol but yea I clean them. On this particular job it wasn't a full cleaning it was just a sidewalk cleaning so curbs wasn't included in the price.

    Did you change the tips on your surface cleaner to lower the pressure for that specific job?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  7 месяцев назад +1

      I didn't but that is the correct way to go about it. I had choked my ball valve on this one

    • @michaelperren8914
      @michaelperren8914 7 месяцев назад

      @@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I thought about doing that but was unsure if that would increase the pressure just like when rinsing with a throttled ball valve.
