Ayee Ray bringing that fire 🔥 saw you on the wash a thon vid and live on the NBZ with Bobby! Can’t wait to see the flatbed! Keeping killing bro NC in the house
Great video Ray 👍 Most driveways that I do, I'll start by pre-rinsing all the expansion joints out and getting all the existing dirt off. It really depends on the condition of the driveway though.. I just picked up 10 gallons of Gold Assassin and I can't wait to see how it works with cold water. Keep hustlin' broski! 😎👍
It helps reduce visibility of the overlaps where the surface cleaner goes over the same spots twice. Something I meant to touch on in the vid.. Hard to remember every detail when recording lol
Great video. I’m new to learning about pressure washing. So you use the soft wash system to pretreat? If I were to start a pressure cleaning company one day without all of the soft wash equipment, what’s the next most efficient way to pretreat?
Ray, the part about 4" per 1 gallon per minute for your machine is a myth, I run two 28" Big Guys on a 8 gpm machine all the time with no issue at all, yes we go just a little bit slower but in my opinion it cleans better. But I do run 100ft of 1/2" line per hose reel with 200ft of 3/8" hose after the 1/2". That way we can reach out 300ft per side of the trailer and get it done! Great information you are putting out, keep it up!
I’m late to this video I just been going down the rabb it hole this week and found you. Best channel I found so far. Question is PATIOS, I live in North Jersey. We have pavement driveways and paver patios, NO CONCRETE !! Can u treat paver patio block with DH ? What’s the best route to take ?
Hey Ray, love your educational videos, great job, just a quick question. What kind of softwash system do you use with your car remote control is so crazy I love it, and what do you think about the air pressure softwash system? Good day.
Thanks brother. This is one I bought awhile back. I am actually not very happy with the Leader pump, this is my 3rd one this year and I won't be using it after my new rig is finished. Moving on to another setup that i'll make a vid on when it's done
Do you run the line off the unloader so it does not go back to the pump if you don’t spray for awhile so it don’t burn off the pump. Great vid helped me a lot.
Great video! I learned a lot. I do have a question though. I’m still learning and practicing on my property. I didn’t use any chemicals and just ran the surface cleaner with water. After everything dried up I noticed lines. Am I still able to post treat it even though it’s been a few days?
Wow looks great. Glad you explained sidewalk. The builder/company really should have included the sidewalk since it looks so bad now and it was their fault they had to get you to clean it in the first place.
@@RaymondNotario 😂 Random, but I realized you are in Belmont area... I used to go there and Gastonia all the time when I lived & worked near CLT airport 2016-2019. Small world! Live in Spartanburg SC area now.
Thank you so much for sharing I was wanting to know why or the purpose of power washing perpendicular on the driveway instead of just going up and down the length of driveway??? Thank You
It helps reduce visibility of the overlaps where the surface cleaner goes over the same spots twice. Something I meant to touch on in the vid.. Hard to remember every detail when recording lol.
Hey Raymond, thank you for all the useful information. Do have any recommendation on handling the white oxidation from brick houses, because I really can’t find any information on making the bricks look clean. I would really appreciate if you can give me a tip or links to getting rid of the white look on the bricks. Thank you very much I appreciate your time and help.
Yes I do. I would try either nmd80 or Onerestore. There is also a chem called white scum remover. I think the white on brick you are referring to is called efflorescence
Hey Ray, I've got a 40yr old concrete slab driveway, 2000 sq ft in Massachusetts, dirty but no oil stains. Some local pressure washing companies say they only use water when pressure washing concrete driveways (or heated water), others use chemicals, such as F9 Groundskeeper. Should I steer clear of the ones only planning on using water? Thanks!
Raymond, i have two one gallon pump sprayers. I plan to just keep oxalic acid for rust on my truck. What’s a good second chemical I should keep on my truck? I saw you use eaco chem hot stain for oil. Or should I have another 1 gallon? Thank you. Also where can I get those chemical lids with the pour spout on it?
Ray, Great tutorial, as usual Sir! Here in NJ, weather and security always a concern, want your thoughts-- Growing from 8ft truck bed to a new trailer build next season--would you look at open or Enclosed trailers if your were in my shoes? Rich
Given that you are concerned about theft and the cold, i'd def steer more towards a box truck. If I were to go that route i'd try to cut in some roll up door on the passenger side to work out of and so the equipment gets displayed to the customer.
Yooo Ray I saw you looked at my linkedin profile a couple weeks ago.... i know it sucks. Any tips? Haha. Its Cory Davis @Davis Management Group Hope youre doing good bro, looking forward to the videos coming up this season
Have you tried plugging opposite holes on the bar to see if it cleans different? I'm thinking that having them offset might help to feather out any lines. If mine had 4 holes I'd try it.
Small question, why did you choose short horizontal strides with the surface Cleaner rather than long vertical strides? Is it due to water runoff and pooling or what? 10:50 - 11:30
Great video content Ray. Just staring out. I noticed you went side to side from the bottomnup that driveway with the surface cleaner. Any reason not to do long passes? Thank you
So when you make passes with the surface cleaner it is very hard not to go overlap a couple inches over a spot that has already been cleaned. This causes "lines" sometimes. The side to side method makes this much less noticeable
The job look awesome but as a guy in the same business, it's always good to throw in a little extra time and effort (the walk way) to gain a loyal customer even if it wasn't in the negotiating
The builder got oil on the driveway while working on the property, I told her I would do the walk way free of charge and she asked me specifically not to do any thing other than the driveway. She was upset that they had to come out of pocket over a small oil stain. It's hard for me to morally not do what the person paying me for the job asks. It did get my ocd going to leave it though LOL
Hello, Sir. I did my first two jobs yesterday. It is hard work! Question - some of my QC's are already becoming a PIA connecting/disconnecting. What type of lube would you recommend for them?
I don't know of any lube that helps, but if you get a good stainless steel quick connect it may help your situation. Spend a few extra bucks on better quality and it will be worth it in the long run
Da cleanest driveway in the hood!!
lol

Love your setup Ray.
Just curious about how you keep an open trailer setup covered when it rains, or during the winter months and hard freezes???
I draw antifreeze into all my pumps, hoses and reels then recycle it the following morning
Nice channel.
Very good explanations. Do you have links where to order the degreaser? Thanks, Tom

You have done an excellent job and very knowledgeable and informational. But regardless you should have done the side walk as well.
Wow looks great. Glad you explained sidewalk. The builder/company really should have included the sidewalk since it looks so bad now and it was their fault they had to get you to clean it in the first place.
I told them I would throw it in and they actually asked me not to do it lol I think they were upset for having have it cleaned over the oil spots.

What’s the best surfactant can I use for just starting up a soft wash business? Trying to stay low budget until I can get more customers.
Is that an x Jet nozzle on end of your trigger gun for your SH?
Ray, Local NC guy here. Do you have any recommendations on breaking into the post construction market? Thanks.
I’d love to have one day to follow you
Great video Question I only can get 10percent sh what mix would you use
That depends on what system you're using. For downstream start with 50/50 and go up from there.
Any reason for going side to side vs. Going up and down?

By law the supplier has to have them available. Some mail them with the product others you'll need to get through email or online.

No I haven't tried that, but i've heard of people putting different degree tips in the other 2 holes.
Any potential issues/danger applying hot stain remover on top of sh (pre treatment) ? How about rust remover like OX Brite on top of pretreatment ?
