I made a thank you card for my daughter's teacher at the end of the middle school year. She said it was a "first" for her. And, this teacher was extremely popular.
@mrsfriedmike educators are amazing people. The really great ones are so underappreciated. It takes a special soul to teach young minds. Way back in the early 2000's, I wished I had a way to reach my previous teachers. Sad thing is, the ones who were in their 50's or 60's then are quite likely passed. There is a special place in my heart for all teachers. So, even though I don't personally know you nor did I learn from you, I want to thank you for educating young minds for 30 beautiful years. 💐❤️❤️
Yes to teacher gifts! I get told I’m “extra” all the time for doing them, but it is legit the LEAST we can do. And it could be as simple as a snack or treat to enjoy. Beginning of the year, holidays, birthdays and teacher appreciation week/end of the year are all great times to say “Thank you!” Teachers wear so many hats for our kids, and they are under so much more stress now than ever before. So, yes, bless the teachers!

In Jr/ High School, we had 2 lockers when I was in school. My gym locker had a bunch of extra care package stuff that if one of the other girls needed a pad or something when we were in sports or just gym class, they knew to ask me. Usually, body spray and pads I shared.
Such a beautiful courageous little toddler. He is your precious little boy. Sad for Jamerrill. Such a good woman to have this sadness. I will pray for her.
I too had a care pouch for my daughter, it was a little hello kitty one, that was 7 years ago now and she still has it. In the Uk you go to university at 18 yrs old, she will start in September and she will be taking her pouch with her lol. I asked if I can get her a new one, she said no way 😂 am taking mum with me 🥺😊. Your a good mum Kim and you brighten our day too. Loads of love from the Uk x

Thank you for acknowledging the hard work teachers do. I'm a preschool teacher and it's hard work and yes we love gifts. I almost cried when I got some gifts I felt even more appreciated even though my students hug me every morning and some tell me they love me or I'm their best teacher. You are a riot! I have one child still in school. Her nearest sibling graduated high school in 2021. She is starting grade 8 (!) this year! I put a pile of leftover (brand-new) extra school supplies out for her to check up against her list. Then forward to her dad and I , her list of what is still needed to begin her 8th year. It is not as much fun, as it was when there were 3 kids going back to school together.

I really enjoyed this Back to School Prep video. My daughter is out of school and in college, but this brought back wonderful memories and the times I tired organizing to help make the school year go more smoothly.
My brother in law is a teacher. They extra school supplies : pens : black, blue and red. Pencils. Copy paper. Dry erase makers. Cleaning supplies. He said anything for the classroom really helps. Just giving them extra pens helps.
I have been a teacher for 25 years. I appreciate the useful teacher gifts like pens and hand gel soooo much 😍 also, I love back to school stuff and buying new pens and notebooks for myself for the new school year

I also give them first day gifts to the teachers and Aides. Teachers and Aides spend so much time with our children. Every time that I have volunteer at my children’s school I see a lot of the work that Aides do and I have to say they also deserve the same credit as teachers.
Kim, last year I had a six month old during back to school. I thought I was so prepared and was happy I got everything ready for my two oldest. Then, after the first day I found out that I used the the school supply list from like two years earlier!!! 🤣
One suggestion I have learned from years of doing it, about the cash....give them ones and maybe a five instead of the 10. Most of the time what they want is a dollar or 2 and it's much easier and faster than trying to get change. Also, some vending machines get to where they will only take cash if you have the exact amount. But great idea and they will be very happy at some point to have all of this!

We have been back in school for nearly a month here, and all three of my girls and I are already ready for a break. I watched your “lady with a loupe” video this morning while I did my makeup, and let me tell you…I was giggling about it all morning. It put me in such a good mood. Thank you for that. Kids should always look forward to school starting:) That was the time of yr when my parents would do the bulk of our clothes shopping for the fall/winter. I did the same as a Mom bc I wanted to pass on those same memories. It's a nice, fresh start, & being organized sure does make it easier to adjust

Firstly, I’ve been watching your content for years and while I have almost always chuckled during every video, I was almost crying for this one. If you putting up that clear week calendar wasn’t thee most accurate depiction of how I feel my life is going right now, I don’t know what is! Then to top it all off you throw in some Bring It On?! Girl after my own heart! I absolutely LOVE watching your videos while winding down after a long day! You will forever be known as “that spice lady” in my husbands eyes. The hooks on that flat organizer are made to hang over the top of the door with the organizer on the back of the door. Their shoes can go in that. Then the square organizer with the shelves goes in the closet. I always loved getting my school supplies for going back to school!
Hi Kim, You're doing great but FYI the flat closet organizer hanger goes over the closet door, not on the closet curtain rod. So one for hanging on the closet door and one for the closet hanger rod. Thats why you will see the metal hooks on the flat one are kinda square and not round like a hanger hook. That's how you get to use both. :) I just love you you totally crack me up.
That is a good idea cubby hanger. I have one that use be for shoes but it is too small 😄. Yes wash tupperwear if says you can. Just never knifes unless you want them dull.
The process you went through hanging up that acrylic calendar thing... it's like watching myself! I struggled like that setting up my whole apartment 😂😢
I love back to school! Loved it as a kid and love it even more as a parent. My daughter just started preschool and I’m loving packing her lunch and getting her backpack ready. But I know it’ll get more complicated as she gets older 😅 ooohhh plz post school lunch videos! They are my fav!!! 💛

The last of my four children graduated last year 😢 This is the first time in many years I have not had to do back to school shopping 😢 I actually kind of miss it...I was at the store the other day and walked thru the aisles just to see all the new school stuff lol. Also, I agree with teacher gifts...they deserve it! Love you Kim...never get your life together, you make the rest of us feel normal 😂😂

I use the snack size ziploc bags to put in the first aid kit contents. Fits much better than the bulky box it comes in.

Firstly, I’ve been watching your content for years and while I have almost always chuckled during every video, I was almost crying for this one. If you putting up that clear week calendar wasn’t thee most accurate depiction of how I feel my life is going right now, I don’t know what is! Then to top it all off you throw in some Bring It On?! Girl after my own heart! I absolutely LOVE watching your videos while winding down after a long day! You will forever be known as “that spice lady” in my husbands eyes. The hooks on that flat organizer are made to hang over the top of the door with the organizer on the back of the door. Their shoes can go in that. Then the square organizer with the shelves goes in the closet. I always loved getting my school supplies for going back to school!
The second option ( with the cubbies) for hanging in the closet with the weekly outfits in is better as the clothes won’t get creased.
Hi Kim, You're doing great but FYI the flat closet organizer hanger goes over the closet door, not on the closet curtain rod. So one for hanging on the closet door and one for the closet hanger rod. Thats why you will see the metal hooks on the flat one are kinda square and not round like a hanger hook. That's how you get to use both. :) I just love you you totally crack me up.
That is a good idea cubby hanger. I have one that use be for shoes but it is too small 😄. Yes wash tupperwear if says you can. Just never knifes unless you want them dull.

I love back to school! Loved it as a kid and love it even more as a parent. My daughter just started preschool and I’m loving packing her lunch and getting her backpack ready. But I know it’ll get more complicated as she gets older 😅 ooohhh plz post school lunch videos! They are my fav!!! 💛
For those flat skinny organizers get over the door hooks since they are out of a closet. Then when they are finished you can hang the cube ones up
