- Hey! Today I went all around town on the hunt for all of the new stuff for back to school shopping! I hit up a lot of stores to see what they had for back to school! I went to TJ Maxx, Dollar Tree, Five Below, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby! If you're a teacher or home schooling I feel like this would be a great video for you to see what the different stores have for you! A lot of great educational products for teachers and homeschoolers or even just great for a homework station! I also of course found some halloween stuff at TJ Maxx and of course a lot of great accessories for the supplies kids need at school! Thanks for shopping around with me!

I have a friend in Cornwall . She makes custom cakes. I buy her stuff from hobby lobby. She said she doesn't have craft stores in her area.
Saw on the news that Debby was close to Tampa and my first thought was “oh no! I hope Kim is ok.” Even though I don’t “actually” know you, I’ve been watching you for literally years. I was pregnant with you also. Wolfgang is not much older than my daughter so I feel connected. I do love teachers who really enjoy their job, but unfortunately they do everything and are over worked.❤ Too many kids who disrespect their teachers, aren’t disciplined at home! God Bless The Good Teacher’s and keep them and the children safe! ❤
I’m a high school teacher and I love to have my classroom feel like a safe and comfortable space for my students. This year my theme is coffee shop. I offer coffee year round in my room and the kids love it!

Our area has required clear backpacks since 9/2021! And we are not a big city or anything. But lunch boxes can be anything and girls can still carry purses. Make it make sense!🤨

My daughter was a teacher kinder through 3rd grade for about 15 years in Manhattan Beach Calif. She is now a principal of an elementary school in the same district. It is so wonderful to hear you say how much you admire teachers. They are truly the UNSUNG HEROS. Thank you so much, I will pass your admiration on to her......

Prayers that you and your family are safe. Thinking of everyone affected by the hurricane. My son’s girlfriend is in her 2nd year of teaching 2nd grade. I have volunteered in her classroom and also save her all of the happy meal toys for her treasure box. Teachers are the best. ❤❤

Some schools require students to have clear backpacks because they want to make sure they are not bringing in contraband and it’s easier to search the clear bags! Hey Kim hope everything is okay with you. I’m in Sarasota are we are swimming down here. Lots of flooding from Debby and so many homes and cars flooded. It was definitely a lot worse than we all anticipated considering the storm was so far off the coast. We can’t take mother nature for granted.

The clear backpacks are common in more urban/poverty stricken school districts for safety. Or at least here in Philly area.

In jacksonville for our county, middle school and highschoolers are required to have clear or mesh bookbags
Clear see through back packs come in handy for corrections officers at prisons, they are required to use clear bags if they need to carry things inside to keep in lockers

Some schools require see through or clear backpacks for security reasons. Too many kids bringing illegal things to school, I guess. It's sad that our world has come to that, but yes, that is the reason for all the clear backpacks. Thank you for a fun video! You make our world better!
I'm a care taker for my sister she goes to a program for people with disabilities so packing things for her for her is basically like preparing for school and I use school supplies for all her medical information it helps me be more organized just because it's for kids in school doesn't mean it has to be

LOVE THE NEW INTRO. Dollar Tree really helped, got water bottles for the kids-mine are 7 & 5. Btw, I never thought to look at Michaels for school supplies! I always have to poop when I walk in there lol. Like the MOMENT I start looking at stuff, my body is like "absolutely not"

I'm from Canada, but i have read a few articles that note how many US schools now require see-through backpacks to ensure anything inside can be observed by school admin and security. I understand that many of your schools (I assume high schools) require students to go through metal detectors as they enter, and the clear backpacks apparently help to ensure student safety. Kind of a sad state of affairs frankly.😳

Some schools are requiring clear backpacks this year for safety reasons. I think there’s a couple here in Oklahoma that have. Our kids school hasn’t required them. We start on the 15th. We have a senior and freshman that are public school, but our toddler is slow playing the potty training so she’s going to be homeschooled this year.
