Dear David, what a great band the Pixies are. It’s very strange to me that they didn’t have like a dozen number one singles. It’s bizarre, I mean, only the Beatles compete with Pixies melodically. Just perfect surf pop wonk from Mars. That being said they probably are held up as the most influential band of the last 35 yrs
David's a pretty underrated drummer, IMO. Maybe not the most show stopping drummer, but he's always versatile, and has a good clock when it comes to keeping time.
