My favorite part of this video is how you update and edit the description using a variety of formulas (TRIM, IFERROR, LEFT, PROPER) - really slick. Once you make the formula it’s easy to update every month. Well done sir

This becomes really difficult with large data sets. What you could do instead is-
    1. List all transactions with the same value AND same description
    2. Find the mean and median of the payment intervals
    3. Find the last payment made for the transaction
    4. If the mean and median of the payment interval is the same, it is a recurring payment
    5. To identify which payments are active subscriptions, you can see if the difference between the current date and the date of the payment is less than or equal to the median date because if the difference is higher, you either have a missed payment or no longer use that subscription

do you have anything for text in the middle of a string? for example, if i want to pull out the fees in the below string? Note the fees can vary from 5.00 to 105.00, and the words "fee deduction" is always after the amount
Citibank payment 28.00 fee deduction to China
