My dad was in WWII and was shot by a German soldier, getting the Purple Heart. He was unbelievably strong. He was my best friend. He died 4 years ago, so when I see all of those crosses and other gravesite markers, it hits hard, because that's what it looks like where he's buried. Sometimes you never get over the loss of someone.

I really appreciate how much the movie tries to show the effects of war, and there are some people who flex their militaries to others without even serving in the military. I Hope This movie and scenes depicted give them the sense of horror that a soldier will go through for the country. Some people sitting in the comfort of their home write comments dissing militaries, for them I hope that this serves as a eye opener. Military should not be expendable but treated as the last resort. And it's our duty to not just shout for war with a sense of pride or ego. Instead try to coexist, sadly though I see bickering in comments which is a huge disrespect to the people who sacrifice so much. Hope this changes and I will always respect those that sacrificed their lives for our freedom and I hope a war like this does not happen again.

I saw these graves while traveling by car in France. The crosses are dazzlingly white, and the grass around them is mowed and incredibly green. The French are undoubtedly still grateful to you to this day. As a Belarusian I was deeply impressed by this.

This video is special for me, 2 of my great grand fathers landed on Juno beach with The Canadian forces of the regiment De la chaudière, nothing makes me more proud than to be there great grand son, mad respect to all the US UK and other allied forces that landed on those beaches
